Skip is an expert at watching and criticizing athletes. He's not an expert in sports as Vlad tried to say. With all his "basketball knowledge", if you put him in a 60 plus YMCA basketball league right now, I bet he would come off the bench. If you gave him a head coaching job in football, it would be surprising if he won a game. If he was a GM, I bet he wouldn't manage the team the right way because of favoritism and emotion. Skip is Robert Dinero's character from the "The Fan". Did you see his soliloquy after Jalen called out his H.S. stats? He just got older and found a lane which allows him to place himself in the arena of athletic conversations. And that's low level, opiniated antics disguised as sports journalism. Did you see the way Mark Cuban dismantled him? No sports expert would have gotten handled like that on their own show.

This by far, is the worst interview Vlad has ever done since I've been watching him, and I've watched him for a very long time. He totally undermined D.L Hughley's point, and persistently undermined him, to the point of insulting his intelligence by stressing something that didn't make sense. Hughley is so intelligent, it exposed the lack of intellect of Vlad, literally. To sit here and go through Bill Bellicek's resume was absolutely ridiculous, and was besides the point. It was as if he was taking a stab at D.L. on the sly, and I think D.L knew it and remained patient about it

I like Vlad but I wish most people like this would just leave sports alone. Skip took a hard jab at Shannon, I’m sure they wrapped it up off cam but people are legit taking this shit to heart. Stop being so soft and stick to talking about the Kardashians and shit, jesus.

“Skip wouldn’t say that to his face…Oh wait he did.” Now let’s make up another excuse “he wouldn’t say that to him on a train or a boat”…Shannon is a grown man and handled himself like a grown man. He could’ve easily pounded Skip into unconsciousnesses, but Shannon isn’t a child and this isn’t a playground.

Yeah but when you haven't played there are things that can't be taught without experience for example Vlad just had an interview on there with the Iman shrimp dude the basketball player. The interviewer who wasn't Vlad was like why I think Harding I think they were discussing Harding I'm not sure. didn't get back in the game and why and dude was like yo he had a torn hamstring you can't do nothing on that. now of course a coach would know that but the point is dude didn't know that even though he knew the circumstances he did not know the intricacies of the injury. This is why it's hard to get a job without experience. Shanon should have slapped a flame out of skip. But skip ain't got no respect for you, you disrespect your own black people for paycheck. you let the white boy sit there and talk to you crazy for a paycheck. respect yourself!

I agree with VLAD. You don't have to be an athlete in order to critique the sport and have valid observations. For example, there are plenty of observers that are in the HALL OF FAME in every sport. Being an intellectual and a student in any subject deserves respect. And yes, it also requires talent to be an articulate, analytical, and eloquent speaker as well. I'd like to use myself as an example, I'm not a musician. However, I'm a student, avid listener, historian, and serious collector of fine music as an art form. And most importantly, I'm just as passionate about the art as ANY musician on this planet! I've also earned that respect from legends, in the game.
