I can't help but think, who robs a bank for $12k? And gives the teller their id? Most banks have protocols in place for larger than average transactions. This transaction should've been moved to a specific teller or office to commence. And to think, he's in Atlanta filming the sequel to one of the highest grossing movies ever made. It appears that the teller never looked up his account where she would've seen a very large balance. She saw a black face and a note to be discreet and boom, "I'm being robbed.“ And as if the cops being called on him, being handcuffed and paraded through the bank, interrogated, and being told to calm down wasn't enough humiliation; even after they knew who he was after running his I'd, he had to ask for them to remove the cuffs. The cops on scene never apologized to him but just tried to justify the ordeal. I must say that this situation would've gone differently for many, many people. The anger. The disrespect. The humiliation. It's infuriating. This arrest and detainment could've easily pushed someone to use profanity and resist arrest out of pure frustration and anger which we all know would've looked guilty or out of control to many but would've been a justified response. However, I'm glad he didn't resist or react out of control because that would've caused the typical response from law enforcement which in most cases ends with brutality or murder.

I watched the new remake of the movie "Cheaper By the Dozen" with Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff and one of the extremely good points that was made was how we as black adults and children are seen and viewed by the world. This is why black parents worry when their children go off to school in the morning and pray that they arrive back home safely.

Remember certain people in power wants to stay in power... Most of them are sick in their concepts and ethnics toward black and brown people. In nut shell, we have to be very creative and have multiple strategies in building our concepts, our principles, our financial base, for our family and the next generation .. Look at as a game, however , we must continue to build and not allow our left hand know what is in our right hand... Master John Henrik Clarke was so wise and he left us with many books to read...
