Just do things because of the second greatest commandment, love your neighbor as yourself, so treat everybody like that , and do good for them because Jesus did that for you.. the rewards are only a bonus and never do good things for people with the expectation of the rewards .. that's the whole point . But of course it's worth knowing that there will be rewards but that isnt the reason why we do things for others

of course but what God has planned for us as a whole we could not imagine heaven is temporary in it's current state too, so that's not to be ignored nor the lords gifts out of respects , not only that but the new earth to add with no Satan / demons in Gods presence as in the early days of creation where water flows, trees flourish and bear fruit, people/animals don't kill each other , or any death period to Gods glory his will be done.

That's not a reward , it's a gift . A reward you have to earn, if salvation and being with Jesus was a reward we would all fail because we are all sinners and deserve punishment, But Jesus out of his goodness, as a gift , gives us the salvation we dont deserve,to be with him and the father for eternity , not because we are good, but because God is good.. So no, being with Jesus is not a reward , it's a gift we don't deserve for believers.

I don't know why people downplay the rewards. Jesus obviously wanted to let us know about them to motivate us. They are eternal, and give Him glory too. The funny thing is, I've sat through sermons that downplay them so much, it smacks of pride. If God wants to give them to us, we should be glad, not say we don't want them or need them.

Months ago I got baptized I prayed to God said Jesus Christ is my salvation he died on the cross for me I cant think of anything else to pray about I have disabilities short term memory loss Hearing loss And a lot more My question is it being disabled good or bad in eye of God I can't work. I don't need a crown or a mansion when God calls me up. Jesus is enough for what he did for me. When jesus died on the cross that was enough and I just want to be with the father and jesus. You will find me in the grass laying down and sitting with friends and family that's all I want and payment enough. I get a crown from jesus I will lay it at his feet because jesus is worthy. Jesus paid a price I could never begin to pay back and for that I am thankful.

God is good and He will confirm something a few times while giving you discernment and peace about it through the Spirit. He can confirm the same message a few times, while you read the Bible or when you talk to a brother or sister in Christ or see the same message again while you drive somewhere. There are 2 judgments in heaven. The Bema seat judgment for believers in the rapture. Revelation 4 and 5. And the great white throne, judgment that will judge all accept the christian will be spectators. Read the bible.😊
