To make matters worse, Angela Carini has now issued an apology to the Olympic committee as well as to her opponent that day? Why should one have to apologize for a woman being beaten up by a man who shouldn't have been competing in the womens division? While I don't have an answer as to why, we can wonder if she was pressured into doing that? Afraid of being cancelled in todays world? Being told she can no longer compete anymore? Was she told to apologize about the issue and not by her own will? It's a sad state of affairs here all around. I was happy to see that Riley Gaines did stick up for her for what she did during the bout. But now, the woman is apologizing for her actions and basically helping this to continue by doing so. From listening to other big names in the sports world the Olympics is about spending and making billions of dollars in revenue for the hosting country. While the people who have trained their whole lives to compete receive nothing from the revenue they bring in from advertisers for the event. Yes, I know many past winners are very well off from endorsements and other avenues, or used the Olympics to move to being a Professional Athlete in their field. It used to be just about the glory of winning for yourself and their respective country. Today, its about the money and the athletes are really an after thought.

I agree. This is an issue that is outside of the typical perversion we see on mainstream. This is a case that needs more understanding from the conservative community. To be fair in Khelifs situation it's a bit more complicated, if she is banned from women's boxing it would also be unfair for her to participate in men's boxing. Admittedly I have not thought it through enough to suggest a better solution, but I don't think it's as simple as banning her.

@@DLMMensLifestyle Daniel, I agree that would be the best way to go. But there was a competition I think last year, where they did a trans league. Not one trans person signed up for it. NOT ONE! So this is not about the trans community "being accepted". No, this is about them being validated. They are wanting to force the issue and force ppl to say that they are women (if trans-woman). This goes back to the SSM issue a while back. Gay ppl would not be satisfied by having a state recognized Civil Union. They had to have it declared a marriage. Even though marriage is something created from religion, not by government. But they wanted it and had to have it be marriage, in order to force religious institutions to validate them and basically poke the religious in the eye. And we are seeing the same thing now with the trans issue/debate. And quite honestly, I feel that women are the ones who are at blame. When this stuff first started happening, MANY MEN called it out and said it wasn't right and would lead to bad things. But the left (especially in the states) as well as women shot back at them. Similar how they do with the abortion issue when they tell men to "Shut up, it's our body, our choice". So at this point, I feel it is on the women to fix a problem they have helped create.
