Largely agree with you Speaking of the composer, I have been posted this everywhere but it is fun to go back to the time when Calli held a RIP remix competition few months after her debut. The winner, named Nhato, a famous DJ created a youtube channel solely to submit his rendition for competition. Nearly 4 years later, Nhato is know composing original song for Hololive English. 😅 Also I don't think you always have to go hard on debut song with heavy beats and EDM thing. While this might be a starting trend from Rebellion, Bloodhound, and now Above Below, it is largely because of talents' voice. You can't ask Biboo and Shiori to sing a song like Above Below for example so Rebellion is milder. And you definitely can't ask Myth and Promise for this kind of song because Ina, Gura, Ame, Fauna, Kronii, and Mumei will struggle. And Holo also don't like to heavily tuned talents' voice for OG song so it is better to have song that fits them all. Justice is an outlier, where all members can sing songs like Above Below

I don't see how it gets better than this. I thought that Rebellion wouldn't be topped, but Above Below is just so incredible. I love that they are making anthems for these generations. This is the kind of song that just sweeps you up with it and makes you lose your mind at a show. I'll take this all day long.

I just straight up ascended like Octavio in Cecilia's debut when I heard this, this went immediately to my top EDM favourites AND IT'S GOING ON LOOP FOR AS LONG AS I WANT TO! I'll tell you right now, I get that ASMR feel every time the song ends, and that's coming from a guy who has a very specific area of ASMR (which I honestly don't fully know yet either.)

This song has a sound I didn't expect to like, given I tend not to listen to this genre. I'm also still wondering how Raora pulled off those squeaks at the start. I'm going to have to say, I'm hoping they don't do focus on music too much, otherwise people will revolt at the lack of streaming. Streaming is the foundation, their bread and butter for content.
