Every time I hear Raora I think... oh, it's the Italian Towa! Yes, her native language is Italian, not English. Would you believe she just learned it 4 years ago? And Liz has been doing weekly (mostly unarchived) karaoke streams where she absolutely crushes it with her powerful voice. I hope you react to her rendition of Unlucky (holostars song) which she really made her own. Cecilia is so entertaining to watch. And Gigi is an absolute menace. Their "A way out" collab was super fun! What a fantastic hololive EN generation! And I find it so cool 3 out of 4 are European. Finally Kiara has some holo members near her location! XD

The reason why they cover primarily Japanese songs despite probably not speaking it, is because Covercorp can handle song copyright and petitions with Japanese labels but not so much with music labels in other parts of the world. to hear them cover english songs likely you have to tune into their unarchived karaoke streams or vods by a 3rd party.

@@avsbes98 main problem is english music labels are greedy as hell when to comes to this. like we are talking asking for around 1000 USD for the rights to do an offical cover of an english song. heck even just karaoke perms english labels have a stick up their butt that makes its just a pain in the butt all around compared to japanese songs.

You need to check out Liz's versons of Unlucky (holostars cover) and Rebellion (advent cover). She absolutely nailed both of them and made them her own. edit: both songs were sang during her Karaoke stream

So here are a few facts about each Member: 1. Elizabeth "Liz" Rose Bloodflame "The Scarlet Queen" is British and hates tea. Everyone point and laugh!!! 2. Gigi Murin "The chaser" uses light mode on Discord and is the harbinger of Chaos (Bae would be jealous) 3. Cecilia "Ceci/CC" Immergreen "The Ancient Automaton" speaks overall 4.5 Languages with German (Mothertongue) English, Baguette (aka French) Norwegian and as you have heard, her song is in Japanese. 4. Raora Panthera "The Artist with gods eyes" is super adorable and her fans (The "Chattino" because Italian) call her Ponthera because she is quite clumsy, the clip queen and just adorable.

I kind of disagree about Gigi. I think she would be an avatar of Chaos, not the harbinger. The harbinger's job is to fuel it and facilitate it (Bae is extremely good at it) while the avatar's job is representing it. In other words, if we represent it as a train, the harbinger is the one throwing coal in the furnace while the avatar is the train going at full speed.

Justice, here we go! For Liz... for now I have only one thing to say... be prepared for her debut. Love the cover, on a side note, besides Marine, Towa + Holoro (ID Gen 2) covered Otonablue as well. For Gigi, the MV is so creative, I love it, her voice fits the song well and she did a great job. Cecilia's cover is probably my favourite of the debut covers, I really like the instrumental and musically it fits her well. Also it was her first time singing in Japanese, I like how her accent shines through. Hibana is a great song and Raora did a good job at it, you can hear she's still somewhat inexperienced in singing, but that just makes it more interesting to see how she grows. Above Below is a banger, I really like the distribution of their vocal parts, everyone got their time to shine and no one got overshadowed, fantastically done. Recommendation as always, Matsuri's cover of プロポーズ / Propose and Watame's original song Revival.

Nah, she's really good but she's got some issues that she needs to curb a bit. I'm excited to see how Cover's vocal trainers can kinda tame that voice a bit and really make it shine. Like I'm expecting the real test to come when she has to sing with others and whether she can match tones or just overpowers people, which would not be good. Irys has a better chameleon voice, and we've not seen everything from Nerissa yet. I would also posit that Bae is extremely underrated vocally and her Zodiac album is a testament to that fact. I would say that Mumei's got some undiscovered depths and would consider her a better technical singer than ERB.

ERB's vocals are completely bonkers, she's had like 5+ karaoke streams already it feels like, and every song she touches is a fucking banger, if you think she sounds good on a recording... this lady... she's a live singer, that's for sure, I think easily the best live singer in Hololive now, which says a lot with the talents already in Hololive.

One of the craziest things about Raora's MV is that ALL of the artwork was done by her! She's an incredibly talented artist and singer! Also, Raora has recently said that English actually wasn't her first language (same with Kiara from EN Myth and, I think, Cecelia from this group too). She only started learning English about 4 years ago and now is fairly fluent, doing her streams in mostly English (with a bit of Italian here and there). Her singing gives me HEAVY Towa vibes and I really hope one day we can get a duet between the two of them. (If you couldn't tell, Raora is my favorite from this generation, but all of them are fantastic). Thanks for another great video, dude!

Holo Justice have been a very fun bundle of joy and Chaos can't wait to see them grow, off singing skills alone though I'm excited to see both Rose and Raora's growth as singers, Gigi and Ceci will need some morebtime to grow as singers but Elizabeth is an absolute powerhouse snd Raora has a lot of obvious potential, alot of people have even been calling her Italian Towa and honestly that's not entirely wrong if we're purely going off of their voices alone.

If you were interested by Gigi's interesting and slightly threatening energy (I know it's been a month, so you might've already seen it), she put out an instrumental-only lore video at the same time as her debut which...at first you wouldn't think matches her vibe, but then rapidly does. All 4 of them are great in different ways. My favourite streams so far were the two A Way Out streams with Cecilia and Gigi, their dynamic is similar to AmeSame (Ame and Gura), nonstop chaotic entertainment even before the game starts. You'll also love Elizabeths million Karaokes. Also you have heard all their voices... but not Cecilias violin yet. She also made a stream where she composed a jingle (and even put in whale noises at some point)

I want to let you know that, when you assumed English was their first language, you are actually incorrect. There are now 4 ESL talents in Hololive English: Kiara (Austrian native, speaks German), IRyS (Japanese native, speaks Japanese), Cecilia (German native, speaks German) and Raora (Italian native, speaks Italian) Several other members are from North America or Australia but speak other languages almost as much as English, namely Fuwawa & Mococo (Japanese), Ina (Korean) and Baelz (Chinese) but aren't really ESL PS: Holostars English has four ESL members too.. Hakka and Goldbullet's first language is Spanish & Jurard and Octavio's first language is Tagalog

The song's beats and vocals are great wonderful but we also need to compliment how playful and smart they wrote lyrics. At first listen it's just yeah it's song made for justice tied to thier lore to catch advent and the lyrics always stay true to the tile Above Below. Imagine you're standing on a clear Lake and your reflection is under your feet, the higher you rise from the surface down further your reflection will dive. But my favorite part is the second verse when they are talking about the diseases, I'm like what's the connection to justice, but the term that is hidden on it was OUTBREAK they won't allow an outbreak to happen. And what would they allow? Just flip the word OUTBREAK to BREAKOUT which is another term prison escape, and I was like... Oh it still connects to the lore very fitting for a debut song. As above so below.
