Honestly, they REALLY need to lower the wind volume. Or replace it with calmer and more "normal" environmental sounds. I've been playing a lot of other FPS games recently that are only windy when there is a wind event going on and it's so much more realistic. Having very loud blowing wind on every outdoors map sounds terrible.

That's just how DLSS works and anyone who knew that was calling it since it was first announced. Tarkov is still horribly optimized and cpu bound. DLSS was never going to do anything about that

DLSS is amazing if you use a 4K display like I do. I went from 45 fps to 75 fps on quality mode.

Why add 9x21mm Ita? Its just a 9x19mm with a larger case that was created, because Italy prohibits civilians from owning 9x19mm guns. This only would further confuse non gun people ..

I was a federally licensed firearms dealer for 10 years and I've never heard of 9x21 ITA until these patch notes lol. Also, I didn't know what .366 TKM was before I started playing Tarkov. But those two calibers are essentially non-existent in the USA.

@@EULGamingYT I know 9x21 Ita (or 9x21mm IMI) because I live in Europe and everyone jokes about our different gun laws. I you met some gun guy from another European country you will start joke about stupid gun laws sooner or later. After WWII large quantities of 9x19mm Para remind in Italy and the government feared that the mafia would feed these missing 9x19mm Para stocks into their legally own civilian guns. Therefore the government banned all 9x19 Para from civilian hands. This is why Glock for example makes a Glock 17 with a slightly longer chamber for 9x21 ITA. I have no idea why GSB should add such a cartridge .. .366 TKM is a work around due to the Russian gun law but the loop hole in the law is now fixed and the .366 TKM weapon are no longer considered Shotguns. According to a Russian I know.

It may be added to increase the volume of the revolver-type weapons in general. I personally don't see any malus from adding it, but one may think otherwise.

DLSS will basically give you 1080p performance at 1440p(Quality mode) and at 4k it will run at 1440p performance, the rest is up to the cpu.

thats not "basically" it, That IS it, in part. You can run 4k at 1080 or even 720 ... (if you wanted to for whatever ungodly reason) .... Among many other settings in between. Tarkov allowing the "super sampling" option allows more fine tuning with DLSS. What actual use that will provide... is yet to be seen.

Not true, it works only with less then 90% GPU load. RTX 20 and better and best with 1440p and more.

you can mess with the super sampling option in the settings menu. Try turning that down one notch, then you can use nvidia imagine scaling to basically DLSS.

@@nonplussedgoblin945 you say that as if you could implement DLSS for lower end cards, which you can't as it's mostly hardware based. The implementation isn't that hard and doesn't take their resources, so complaining about it is nonsensical. This optimisation is easy and still benefits a large portion of the community (2060, 3050 users etc)
