The improvement of sound is huge! How can you not hear the way more mature and serious sound of the flip 4? The bass reaches deeper and has a lot more serious punch plus the treble extends nicer. They raised the flip 4 up to another class of speakers compared to the flip 3.

Krazy flip 4 has more bass now and it sounds more clear if u hear them in person i dont have to tell u anything but i prefer the flip 4 wich is the one im using to see this video lol but thats my opinion not everybody likes the same thing

Mine just broke. I've dropped it from 6 feet multiple times, and the only thing that broke was the charger port! And because it was given to me already smashed in! Lol I'm lookin at the 4 cuz it's just too complicated to repair.

I must say that there is a lot of improvements in Flip 4, I have both of them, and I found that the Flip 4’s bass radiators is much heavier, and can go down to 65 Hz, but the Flip3 can only go down to 85, so that I can really hear a lot of difference between them, and the Flip 4’s bass is raised from 1-45% volume on my iPhone 7, but it starts going down when u keep pressing up the volume. But the Flip 3’s bass starts going down starts from 75% volume, so when u hear music at low volume, it sounds weak.

The flip 3 bass is a little flatter than the flip 4. Otherwise, the sound quality sounds pretty similar. I think the only upgrade you want for this is if you want the waterproofing. Otherwise, the price is not worth the upgrade of the flip 3. I bought a factory refurbished flip 3 for $35 and it was well worth it. There is currently a sale on a new blue flip 3 for $60. Regular price is $75. Flip 4 is $100. For the extra $25, I don't think the flip 4 is worth it for me as the sound quality upgrade isn't worth the price.

Flip 4 has a low frequency setting. I don't know about the flip 3. But if you hold down the Bluetooth and the volume down button at the same time for 30 seconds that kicks into low frequency you can tell when the lights flash. Which gives it a more melo m Fuller bass sound crib take some of the tinnest out. I wonder why none of these reviews ever cover this

Having just bought my GF the new Flip 4 I can say that this video isn't accurate. I own the Flip 3 and compared it side by side to the new Flip 4. While it does sound better it isn't to the extent that this video makes it out to be. The Flip 4 has clearer audio for sure, but its not anything mind blowing. If anything the Flip 3 has a deeper sound signature, but its not tinny and muddy sounding like this video makes it out to be.

Hey bro! I love your videos and your accurate analysis and reviews. I have noticed this for sometime now, however, that you switch from speaker to speaker after four bars, which I find to be too fast to allow a thorough listen. 8 bars seems to be about right. I would add that my brain naturally feels ready for a change after eight bars which is a pretty typical length of a short solo in jazz and other types of soloing. Just a suggestion. As far as the speakers go, I was surprised to hear how close the speaker sound. I think I will have to watch your video again, and also look at more reviews of the same issue. Thank you for all of your hard work!

I like the bass from the flip 4, the over all mids and highs are crisp but , the highs are so crisp that its very unnatural and somewhat harsh while the flip 3 doesnt have the same mids or highs but sounds more 'natural' so to speak.

Yes, if someone is gonna listen to music that involves much compression (almost everything after the 90's) might suffer with these harsh highs. Flip 3 is much more flat and balanced.

i hate how the highs distort so much on flip 4 At 3:59 and also on 2:52, i love the bass in it, but everything else sucks in comparison. Flip 3 has a much flatter and balanced sound, yes Flip 4 have a more deep and strong bass but judging the overall balance, Flip 3 is much better.
