Of course I'm old school. But she isn't all that great IMO. I don't think the song is all that great either. But I came up listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, (due to my parents), plus all the great female artists in the 60s & 70s, even on into the 80s, & early to mid 90s. So yea, Whitney, Mary J, even Mariah & Lisa. You'll have to understand I was spoiled on music. Too bad those who wanted you to react to Tommy Bolin, didn't request Dreamer, Gypsy Soul, or Shake the Devil (My late wife's fav tune by TB) Of course if we all liked the same things, same music, same food, etc., what a dull boring life it would be. Just because I don't like a certain artist, or song, doesn't make me the "final word" on anything. Look at Slim Whitman (who almost makes me want to smash his face in, when I hear his singing) he had millions of fans, who thought he was the greatest, most expressive, soulful, emotional singer on the planet. They aren't wrong, but neither am I. Be blessed.

Truly thoughtful and honest...thank you for the comment. I agree that there are better singers, and there are singers that are worse. I wasn't sure what to expect with Davina, but I ended up liking her.
