I am mesmerized by it, thank you very much for the break downs, and making formal knowledge understandable on a practical level, it's so hard to find such a thing when it comes to some of the more advanced stuff, especially anything specific, and it's all so much that it can be overwhelming sometimes. So thank you, graciously, new sub. Always wanted a fairy voice mother, had no idea yall actually came with the wizard knowledge, the accent, and all the bells and whistles too.

Once again, Lolli, you've delivered a reaction & analysis that is an absolute joy to watch. Through your reactions, it's as if I'm hearing this song for the first time again. And to top it off, your own vocalisations to illustrate what you mean are gorgeous. I can't decide which I like best. (Do you see what I did there?) A couple of questions for you, if I may beg your indulgence: will you be releasing an album some time? I'd love to have I Can't Decide and any other songs you'd care to record with that level of passion and excitement as a CD some day. There are several singers I'd like to recommend, and please forgive me if you've already recorded reactions to them - Geoff Tate of Queensryche (Take Hold of the Flame, Silent Lucidity, Empire or anything from Operation: Mindcrime); Michael Kiske of Helloween (Keeper of the Seven Keys, Future World or The Tale That Wasn't Right); and Fish (yes, it was a nickname, but it became his stage name, and I can never remember his real name) of Marillion (Grendel would be perfect, but any of Script For A Jester's Tear, The Web, Forgotten Sons, Emerald Lies, Fugazi, Chelsea Monday, Pseudo Silk Kimono or Sugar Mice would be great).

Always happy to have a dose of Geoff, and you brought a dimension of analysis to it that was thoroughly enjoyable, especially delivered in your inimitable style. I'll confess that, being an appreciator more than an aficionado or student of music, sometimes I'm wishing for subtitles when you're gamboling through the terminology. But no criticism. It's a learning opportunity, and you get the point across. I also must confess that in the 10-minute and the 14-minute ranges, you seemed to be having... well.... an experience of some sort. That was intentionally provocative, right? Nicely done!

I have listened to this countless times. It has been my go-to when I needed to settle down and go to sleep. It’s slow, sonorous, and so soothing (how’s that for alliteration?😂) You pointed out so many things that I had never noticed. I don’t have musical training and I have a slight auditory processing problem so it really helps to have someone stop and point out something like you have. I appreciate that you pointed out not only the singing but all of the music background and the sound effects. He is, in addition to everything else, a master storyteller and those effects help tell that story. He did follow this up with I See Fire from Desolation of Smaug where the dwarves appear again. In I See Fire, each of the Geoff’s gets to sing which really shows off his range. And Babyface Geoff, as you call him😊, does not have the deepest voice in that one. It is Thorin Oakenshield with the big fur coat that drops the deepest notes. If you’re just after really really deep bass notes, check out his cover of Unshaken. You will be shaken - I guarantee it! I don’t have musical training but several people have stated that he has dropped a number of G1’s in a variety of styles.
