This was one of the best ever tv shows. Great people, real life, no bullshit.
@JD-tn5lz2 жыл бұрын
Nope. This one is complete bullshit. Complete and utter bull**** I spent most of my career serving rural Alaskans, and several years living in small villages. No, these two won't starve or even miss a meal. Several reasons, and I'll mention just two...if it's a more traditional village NO ONE goes hungry unless EVERYONE goes hungry and the second, the far more likely episode...they'll receive public assistance to the value of about $2400 in Quest (food stamps), and energy assistance (additional $ for fuel oil), as well as additional public benefits to include free health care, free travel to hub communities for healthcare (grocery shopping trips), free housing, and corporate dividends. Sorry KZbin producer, you've been sold a bill of goods and now you're selling it to people that have never been more than thirty minutes from a custom latte' Complete, utter crap

Dont you know what a reality show is? These two people are not living on the brink of starvation at all. They are living in a comfortable cabin with a camera crew and plenty of food .

I have always liked Heimo since his first video. He reminds you of (Bill Murray) the cool uncle that hunted and let you shoot, smoke, start camp fires and drink. I have watched his videos for decades. Really nice guy. I am an equipment snob and spare no costs for hunting ammo and rifles & scopes, knives etc. When I see his old 788 and cheap scope I realize you don't have to have the best, just something that works and you wont be afraid to use it hard like a tool. In all his videos I have never seen Heimo really mad or sad (except remembering his daughter R.I.P.). He is an inspirational upbeat guy, Edna too. They really compliment and fit each other like a glove. God bless Heimo and Edna Korth. May they always have a nice fire to keep warm and fresh washed caribou stomach to share by the stream.

Me too, Lawrence. It seemed the only really real reality shows to have been made. The only others I can think of was Les Stroud's survival series and Dick Pereniki's (? spelling) filming, but both of those were without film crews. I wish there were more or these non-scripted shows on tv instead of everything else that makes my tv redundant these days.
