Why am I the only one laughing that when they collided watching everyone fly across the captain’s area including the captain?! Idk why it was so funny seeing them turn into human catapults but it was pretty entertaining. They really showed them whalers not to mess with them!!! I’m not sure the message they’re sending to them but it’s got to be some serious fun. If it was as fun as throwing fish guts at other crabbing vessels at the end of the season I can only imagine the fun they have throwing rotten butter.

I understand this crew has to operate under some restrictions as well as follow some maritime law, and they use loopholes to harass the whaling fleet... but if you're willing to ram your ship into another ship, why do you even bother throwing stink bombs and dropping prop foulers? If you gouge a hole in the other ship and sink it, you could easily kill people. So.... why not up the ante and do something damaging enough to disable the fleet?

I mean, there are other problems with the global fish industry. Like the trollers that scrape up the bottom of the ocean and all the bi-catch that gets killed and unused. This seems to be a waste of money if we're just going after themM just cause theyre killing a couple of whales. I saw one whale coming up the ramp. Not a couple dozen or anything. Maybe im wrong. The thing is, during this time the Japanese HAD permission from the ICW (or IWC can’t remember which) and the Australian and American government to hunt in those waters, ESPECIALLY since they had their whale hunting quotas shortened. Not to mention that they were hunting Mink whales that are nowhere near endangered.

In such a cold sea, you can only survive for a few minutes before your body becomes numb and freezes. What if someone fell into the sea and died? Is it worth one whale?

The whalers have to invest into not only tools to catch these poor animals, but also into requiring to actually be able to transfer as well as keep their catch. Their making the business so expensive for the catchers that their eventually forced to either cancel it or risk bankruptcy.

The ship was designed for ramming and has a hull reinforced with concrete. It’s similar to how an icebreaker is able to smash trough frozen waters without going down.

How this has become mainstream entertainment is beyond me. And they are clueless amateurs just in it for the hell of it. Eg. the random cheering. Eg. 4:10, PW: "I need a damage control ... [hesitating]". What he needs first and foremost is a damage report. Any responsible master of such a situation knows exactly what to ask for and what to do. Best (I actually do mean: worst) incidents ever are still when the rib boat launch failed and the boat tipped over, and when D boat was launched in a later-afternoon attach but instead of heading for the target it bolted out in the wrong direction and could not be called back because their means of communications were off. You can't even make stuff like that up!

Damage on the Cruiser Prinz Eugen: The Bow was heavy damage. Damage on the Cruiser Leipzig: 27 people dead, heavy damages at the port side and the ship was nearly cut into two pieces.

Here is an idea for you :D ... Get a bow and design your self an arrow with a tube of expansion foam on the inpact end(the one for construction purposes) ... make it so that the tube/can explodes upon impact and foams everything in 1meter radius, no sharp corners or edges so that noone gets hurt in case of miss fire (rough sea)... / or another idea again foam but in the paintball bullet... then with your new arrows and paintball bullets shoot at the exhaust pipes :D... that will not sink them...just stall the engine and they will take a ton of time to clear the exhaust shaft so they will probably call for another vessel- just repeat the process when more ships show up for help and soon we will have a sea city made out of stalled whaler ships xD
