Dave Matthews Band will headline a historic evening on the green in Piedmont Park on Saturday, Sept. 8th. Opening the show are the legendary Allman Brothers Band, who last performed in the Park more than 30 years ago. The event will raise funds for the 53-acre expansion of the Park. With an anticipated 50,000 fans, the benefit concert will be one of the largest shows on Dave Matthews Band"

This epic feature from "Before These Crowded Streets" debuted in 1998 where it occasionally featured Greg Howard, Tim Reynolds, and an extended jam masterminded by Carter. Although it enjoyed a mediocre run in the summer of 1999, it disappeared from then until 2003, only to receive the occasional slight tease. After a failed attempt to play it at the last show of the summer 2002 tour the song resurfaced in the summer of 2003 but then disappeared again until summer 2006, when the band extended the jam to almost twice its former length.
In 2007, LeRoi interpolated Tay Zonday's "Chocolate Rain" during the jam section of nearly every performance of the song.
