No doubt: I'm not sure Canelo can pull it off frankly. I had him down against Kovalev before the KO, and that was an old, shopworn Kovalev coming off a war. Bivol is even more skillful and in his prime, and I don't see Canelo being able to easily finish him out of the blue like BJS, Sergey, or Plant. I think other than maybe Beterbiev, this is by far the hardest fight Canelo could take. p.s. love the profile pic, The Ancient of Days, got that as a poster ;)

Given a shot kovalev was competitive till he tired out, I don't think that's far fetched. I'm rooting for bivol, as I've watched him for years and always thought this would be the ideal fight. I do think canelo is exceptional and to me it is all about who's style dominates. I just don't see canelo tiring bivol down, but I could see canelo cutting the ring off and harming bivol. But to me the longer it goes, the more it favors the more energetic bivol. Well you never know with American judges, though.....
