I agree with you to an extent. The problem being there were two offers for (2) fight deals. I believe bivol is equal or if anything harder than charlo but remember its a (2) fight decision. If bivol indeed is harder than charlo there still is benevidez. Canelo might have picked the harder route for one fight but he knows he has triple g after. Which most of his stans believe lost to canelo twice. If triple g couldnt get the win ( which he did win one of them) the first two fights, the odds for an older tripple g looking good enough to win another decision is bleek. Look at the bigger picture. The main thing is we as fans want canelo to fight charlo, david and andrade. All other fighters other than those three really dont deserve a fight with canelo so fans or stans can say what they want about there always being a fighter thinking they deserve a fight with canelo but it dont matter. Im just glad canelo is finally stepping up to fight challenges. Remember a few months ago his stans were trying to justify him fighting a nobody ( wackabo) even though he was just looking for a payday and caenlo looking for a guaranteed win. Bivol is very well spoken. The question about what can he bring that Canelo hasn't seen, he's seen it all. Bivol will need to box and move laterally, something that he doesn't do because frankly he doesn't need to. I'm genuinely excited for this fight. He admits Canelo and he walk around at the same weight and gives his technical breakdown of the fight. Bivol claims this is an interesting fight for a professional boxer. The amount of respect to his sport and to himself and his opponent in every statement is to be emulated. Canelo did well for himself to fight such a respectable opponent - no matter what the outcome, both boxers will be greater after this match.

Jermall Charlo only impressed me once and that was at 154 vs an unproven J Rock. After that win, he started carrying on like he was a unified or undisputed champ of multiple divisions. David Benavidez hasn’t faced one fighter that interested me enough to tune in. Tank Davis resume is trash, but it’s still better than Jermall’s and especially David Benavidez resume. David Benavidez is getting props for basically being big and long/ a good combination pincher vs C level fighters. Team Plant tried making a fight with Benavidez but he allows his turd of a promoter to price David out of fights or say he’s not ready for the fights. David would’ve probably faced Canelo already had if he had more discipline and wasn’t using drugs and coming in over weight. Plant was trying to fight Diva Charlo and although J don’t believe David is a diva like.
