@@natedowns5 The clearest to me was round 9. Canelo backed up Bivol the majority without taking much back. There was a point in that round where Bivol threw 20 punches straight and Canelo dodged everything except the single gut punch in the end. Another round I gave him was round 2. It was a round that could swing either way, but Canelo's ring generalship is what allows him to edge many close rounds. Im surprised many more people don't mention this. It's probably the single greatest reason he beat GGG in their second fight imo. The fighter that dictates the pace and presses forward will nearly always win close rounds.

Canelo was carrying extra weight on his frame and was unable to train properly due to a hand injury. No shame in Canelo being 1-1 vs light heavyweight champs when the only other ex welterweight to be champ at 175 was 6'1 Thomas Hearns. Meanwhile Bivol hasn't even tried unifying his 1 division much less risked moving up like Canelo.

Bivol was good but Canelo is unreal… the amount of shots that actually miss but the crowd think hit is crazy if really watch it the shots that do hit mostly are blocked by the gloves guys got unreal reflexes and concentration. Canelo landed the more cleaner shots but defo stupidly close and defo could have gone either way. Canelo is pretty special fought mayweather at the wrong time to early would have been amazing 3 years ago. All amazing boxers lucky to be able to grow up watching them all 👊
