"The goal is NOT to win these wars. The goal is to use the wars to wash money out of the tax bases of the United States and out of the tax bases of European countries and back into the hands of a transnational security elite. THAT is the goal. To have ENDLESS wars, NOT SUCCESSFUL wars." ~ Julian Ass.ange - Stop the War Interview - 8 October 2011

Mutual respect for the differences between countries isn't difficult for THINKING people. There are things about Britain that are absolutely unacceptable for me, but I don't live in Britain and never would... let Britain be Britain; I'm sure there are things about Texas the average Brit would dislike, but they don't live here. Same thing for Russia... You don't have to like some things about Russia, but let Russia be Russia. Let their own people decide how to live, or how much they'll put up with (Same as Britain-- remember we fought a revolution to rid ourselves of British rule). Britain has a rich history as does Russia, and Russia has a beautiful culture. They haven't had the best of luck in politics or political systems, but neither have the Brits or the US now... People need to learn to live together, to live and let live, and we need to stop all this global elite powerful oligarchy thinking they have the right to rule the world.

@@lukestrawwalker Dang, that was one of the best little takes or opinions regarding Russia I've heard in a while. Normally that's a very loaded subject for westerners to opine about, and they have a hard time, with any equanimity shall we say, giving their little two cents without somehow sounding lame or tendentious or ignorant or whatever. I don't really care about Russia. They're obviously fine, just people. Plenty of smart ones, plenty of dumb ones, etc. I suppose they're more rugged than westerners on account of their comparatively hardscrabble existence, and the rougher justice they've typically come in for from their leaders and social betters. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. America is definitely seeing their chickens come home to roost in any event. In all sorts of ways.....

This is all we - Ukrainians need to know about this proxy NATO vs Russia war: “Being an enemy of America is dangerous, being a friend of America is fatal.” - Henry Kissinger (?) * >>>I guess it was the 12th or 13th time to Kiev, and I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. I got a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against a state prosecutor, and they didn’t. “So as they were walking out to the press conference, I said, nah, we aren’t going to give you the billion dollars. They said you have no authority, you are not the President. I said call him. I’m telling you, you are not getting the billion dollars. “You are not getting the billion; I am leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you are not getting the money. “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.>If you put aside the immense human suffering and look at Ukraine’s war through the cold lens of international power politics, a clear picture emerges: the West is having a good war against Russia. All NATO has to do is send Kyiv munitions, equipment and money, which, as any general knows, is the c h e a p e s t way to wage war. (...) The lives are being given by the Ukrainians. They’re defending their nation but also, inadvertently, helping decide the Cold War. For 70 years, NATO deterred a Moscow attack westwards. The Russians eventually invaded, last February, what they assumed would be a conquerable target on their south-western border. The war that NATO long prepared for is finally being fought.

Thanks Nima for another great interview . I hope all those captured terrorists enjoy their stay in the Russian prisons! FYI. Do you know that the president elect of Mexico (Claudia Sheinbaum) invited Putin to her inauguration? She said he will not be arrested in protest of the ICJ ruling. Fortunately I have lived in Mexico for 15 years & will never return to live in the USA.

Brilliant listening to Dmitry and to know how well Russia is doing, both economically, militarily and socially, despite the heinous and despicable lies and treatment of Nato. Slava Russia and Serbia, another country treated so despicably by Nato. I am utterly sick of all the lies spread about Russia and Serbia who should be respectad as our greatest allies.

it was great from Dmitry´s side to remind us about the continuety of Russian foreign politics be that RI, USSR or RF. Most people start bemoaning the "aggressive Soviets" showing their lack of education

What is wrong with those men. Clearly they are maniacs and by no means a soldier. How the hell does anyone even conduct a war with these mercenaries and terrorists and depraved, hoodlums. Thanks so much for this information which truly isn’t available elsewhere. This is the best conversation possible to get this key news.

Thank you for this latest interview with Dmitry Orlov. I always find his books and speaking most enlightening and also appreciate his somewhat sadistic sense of humor. I wish you had asked him to comment upon the refinery that the Ukrainians allegedly took over in the southeast area of the Kursk oblast and if its functional capacity or physical structure have sustained damage.

" Ukrainian" incursion did have three objectives : 1. Kurczatov nuclear labs 2. Kursk NPP 3. Storage facility for nuclear warheads for Iskander missiles. But.... they lost focus and ability to move.
