Pirog was a damn good fighter and he fought more in an American style than a Russian style. Good skills, nice upperbody movement and nice footwork. When he destroyed Daniel Jacobs, I was sure Pirog was going to win a world title. But he suffered an injury to his back that ending his fighting career.

The thing I loved about pirog was his positioning he’s always under guys guard baiting them and then in and out range to counter with a flurry. His angles always changed never the same coming in or out don’t think I’ve ever seen a fight of his where he put himself in danger. He was like a Floyd but he wud put the pressure on u with that Philly shell trusting his instincts

I always thought that Dimitry could beat all the guys in the division. he had the best defensive movement's and he knew how to cut the ring as good as JC Chavez did, plus he had power and chin. so sad he had that back injury, definitely he was in a path to greatness. salutes to the grand master! from México.

Dmytri, lincah napas stabil, Krn latihan phidiknya bagus, seharusnya Kofi juga demikian, sehingga bisa seimbang HH pelatih bisa melihat, dan menilai hh

Si, ma sono diventati bravi quando il pugilato ha smesso di essere interessante negli Stati Uniti. Un tempo era pieno di pugili bravissimi (Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, one time Carlos Monzon or Mohammed Ali, George Foreman...)...

Pie ha percepito questa lotta come uno sparring. Non ha lanciato un singolo colpo di forza e non ha forzato gli eventi. Poteva finire tutto in qualsiasi momento ma ha continuato a eseguire l'installazione dell'allenatore.

Because he is obviously not a lightweight. Check weight classes when you research fighters. Mayweather and Lomachenko aren’t even from the same era.

Mi sa che tu hai conosciuto pochi pugili neri. E comunque sono loro ad aver fatto la storia del pugilato non questi quattro ruski arrivati in ritardo (la boxe non è più così interessante da molti anni in Occidente...)... Ma vai a pescare i vecchi pugili (Mike Tyson, Mohammed Ali, George Foreman, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler...) e vedi se avevano le mani legate!
