When I watched this fight I thought GGG edged it by a round or two. If Canelo took it by a round it'd be a bit shocking but somewhat justifiable. The judge who scored it 10 rounds to 2 in favour of Canelo should be banned from judging a boxing match ever again.

I must have watched this fight on playback about 15 times and Golovkin definitely landed the highest volume of scoring punches. No fair-minded boxing enthusiast could possibly have seen any other result than a win for Golovkin. There is absolutely no doubt that GGG was robbed in this fight.

Who else had it 115-113 (7-5) for GGG? Canelo definitely took the first two rounds, but after that Golovkin kept smothering him, increasing his work rate and pushing him against the ropes each round, undoubtedly dominating rounds 3-9. Rounds 10, 11 & 12 go to Canelo, round 11 could've gone either way but I feel Canelo landed the bigger shots and had superior work rate in the final rounds, Golovkin definitely won this fight, what a shame.

12:06 I didn’t notice it at first but man are both corners observant! Eddy points out that Canelo can catch GGG by stepping back and throwing an uppercut whenever he (GGG) throws his two left jabs followed by a right; Abel also sees that and tells GGG that canelo might throw an uppercut so he has to throw a left hook and aim it at the left side of the chest (it could catch canelos chin if it lands). Amazing work by both trainers!!!

I don't know where you get that from. With passing of time and advancement in science of physical practice in every sport to achieve outstanding results, it becomes more and more difficult, so it seems unreasonable your argument. Fifteen rounds would dilute the quality of the whole thing and fighters can also suffer more than they should. There's a reason why it is designed to twelve by much smarter people than you and I.

Nevertheless, as a personal opinion, Im a bit dissapointed for that card from that judge that gave the fight to canelo with that wide difference (I root for canelo but that score card was bs idk what happened there). That score card unfortunately tarnished the incredible fight. I'd have believed a 149-148 canelo, a small edge but the truth is that the fight was extremely close, no way it could have been scored completely one sided in favor of any of both guys

Golovkin honestly would make the greatest bare knuckle boxer in history. His fundamentals skills are out of this world. Barely any wasted movements, Godly jab with godly timing, insane subtle defensive movements to avoid critical damage, iron chin always tucked under all circumstance, footwork and balance always on point to cut ring off and deliver effective shots at required distance, strong asf etc

Canelo losing would be very bad for them because there was alot of money on him which is why this is a easy rig. All 3 judges gave Canelo the 10th round. I watched in .25 slow motion, GGG landed more punches by a 29-12 margin. Canelo got tired the 2nd half of the round, was holding and moving away or had his back on the ropes. He was missing most of his punches. The 2nd half of the round GGG out landed him 19-4.
