This is very beautiful Chopin piece - vigorous, full of youthful energy and brilliance. I completely can't understand why it's considered as Chopin's less successful work - listen for example a melody in E major starting at 1:11 - first time you listen something like this, full of tenderness and warmth and you think - it can't any other composer but only Chopin

His kind to play the piano is very special. He's playing the piano in his own way, its fantastic. Also his expression on his face when playing it gives even me Courage not to give up the piano. He got me. Thank You.

This is a beautiful op of Chopin. Very elegant, touching, funny, young. It transmits memories and desire to be a child. This interpretation is very nice. Bravo as Chopin op is required, elegant, funny and beauty pianist.

He's walked back the standard interpretations quite a bit and built in his own flare in some very interesting ways. Sufficiently unique for me to consider this performance incredibly compelling despite the mistakes and personal disagreements I have with how he chooses to play a few certain parts.

Very show-offy. BUT that's not always a bad thing, especially with this piece!! He played it absolutely wonderful and persuaded me to listen to the whole thing. I love how into the music of it he is. Someone once said in a KZbin comment somewhere (I can't remember who or where) that every composer begins with a desire for needless virtuosity in their compositions that they eventually outgrow. I believe this is true (however, Liszt never outgrew it!) and is evident in this composition. Chopin was just getting started. He was experimenting and it worked! Little did people of the 19th century know, this was only the beginning of the greatest (in my opinion) composer not only of the Romantic Era but of all time. Mr. Shishkin conveys this needless virtuosity very well but what also comes across very well is the early musical maturity of a 15 year old Frederic Chopin. Thank you, Dmitry.
@tomgiles1484
@tomgiles1484 6 жыл бұрын
AceOfSpades There's nothing wrong with virtuosity, even if only for virtuosity's sake. To call it "needless" and something that one outgrows is silly. It's all music, and if it expresses a particular emotion or feeling the composer wished to convey -- or because it just sounds cool, so be it. Why not use the piano to its fullest extent? Liszt, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff certainly took advantage of this 88-key "palette of colors." Contrarily, music that isn't "show-offy" isn't necessarily any more sublime than virtuosic works.

I don't know why but this Rondo is maybe the unique composition of Chopin that make very sad, melencolic, I even want to cry on it. It has a special feeling that I can't describe. Shishkin is bringing it so perfectly tho :3

Honestly it is very youthful. It depicts “chilling out” with teenagers perfectly. And I mean he was a teen so what did you expect? Of course I see Chopin traits here. I think perhaps that feeling is the desire to be a kid again. I can’t blame Chopin though.
@elsaesteves
@elsaesteves 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's a masterpiece do you know why? Cause Chopin at the age of 15 didn't have bad habits, he was still a child, he was pure. Chopin is describing his existence till that day, he's sad and demanding someone why : 'why did you do that', he's was starting to think to leave his homeland, which he did, so this was a prélude of what was yet to come.

This Rondó is one of the most beautiful pieces ever written for piano ❤️💗❤️ no other composer is close of being close to Chopin, not even Mozart 💗 this is obviously my opinion. Pity this pianist did not get Chopin's essence, they rarely do 😕 minute 3:19 Chopin is grieving, he is saying good-bye to something or someone, well nevermind, Chopin was the Universe's Gift to Mankind 😍💗💗💗💗

Возможно, комета, сошедшая на его родину, является знаменосцем и намеком на его небесные навыки. Perhaps the comet that descended in his birthplace is a signpost and hint of his celestially assisted skills.
