I've had my Hellion for a year now and was trying different optics out on it. I ended up putting the Arken 1-8 lpvo on it. I shot first DMR competition using my Hellion and I placed 6th out of 42 people. It was a local match which made it a fun learning experience for everyone.

Nice! I think people definitely underestimate the capabilities of bullpups.

Very interesting to see the BP running in this style of event, makes me want to take the RDB out and see what would happen!

I have an RDB, the reason I haven't taken it out is that mine just doesn't shoot that well. If yours shoots good, go for it!

Better shooting than I'd ever do! Thanks for posting this, takes moxy to show your honest results.

You never know until you try! There's no point in pretending you're better than you are, it just leads to false expectations and embarrassment.

I've been struggling to find an optic I'm happy with for my VHS-2. I've tried Burris LVPO and EOTECH, and Acog is wrong height for eye alignment. I ended up going with a standard 3x9 40mm with 30mm body and Low rings. Works well, but doesn't fit the modern military aesthetic. Mine is very accurate once it's dialed in and dope is set. I use mine at Friday night rifle league indoors and black rifle league 3 to 200 meters outdoors on weekends. Doesn't seem to jam with PMC or Federal 55gr or 62gr fmj often. Wolf/Tula is very light and cannot use suppressor setting. I am working on developing a finer trigger for Hellion, but it requires a new safety and trigger housing to work. The trigger is setup for military movement, not benchrest accuracy. I haven't figured out how to cut some weight out of my VHS. The manticore shorty butt stock is metal and may have added weight. Sometimes I go back to my PWS Mk111. AR-15 is faster to reload and finer trigger. Lighter. Nice job at the match! Thanks for sharing your video footage

I just got the March 1.5-15x. I think it suits the gun well, though I think I need a lower mount. It's not at a terrible height as is, but it isn't as solid of a cheek weld as I would like. I may have to add a little padding to the cheekpiece to push my head up to the right point.

I’m just getting into LPVOs and your video helped me understand them a bit more. Great video. Subbing to channel. I would really like to try these style of matches. Really cool.
@ConventionRejected9 ай бұрын
Thanks! I'm not sure this scope counts as an LPVO since its minimum magnification only goes to 1.5x. Stay tuned, I plan on using the scope in a USPSA-style rifle match soon that will really put the 1.5x usability to the test. I am also considering making a video talking specifically about this optic since there isn't much out there on it.

@@ConventionRejected awesome! Looking forward to seeing those videos. I would also like to know more about the optic. I’ve not seen that one before.

I considered getting one of those Steyr pistols for the low bore axis. Looks like you're quite accurate with it.

Love my Steyr, definitely a recommend from me.

What scope is that
@ConventionRejected9 ай бұрын
I listed it at the beginning of the video. It is a March FX 1.5-15x42 Dual Focal Plane scope.
