I have a similar issue with the same model. It gives E3 error (which mean drainage problem). How may I test the case break (& flow meter) for problems?

Open it up as I did in this vid and check if the water actually drains out. May be your pump.

@@JanDuToit Yes, I tried and it drains all the water out. I tested the heater thing and it's not open circuit. I also checked the power to the inlet valve and NO POWER goes to inlet valve. It just tries to drain continuously (I believe). I tested the inlet valve outside the dishwasher, and when connected to power source, it gets draws water correctly. Could it be a thermostat thing? Could it be the break/brake case thing? I don't understand the full cycle and just trying this out. Which components should I check and how?

What do you mean with "brake case"? Does the machine fill with water when switched on initially?

@@JanDuToit No, it just goes for draining and draining, and then gives that error. I fill it with water, it however drains everything and no water remains inside. It seems to me like some sensor is saying (more water exists). I checked the float switch and seems Ok. I short-circuited that switch and got a different (F) error. The case break or air break case is the plastic part containing the flow meter (This part www.samsungonderdelen.com/samsung-parts/dd82-01010a.htm)

Thanks Jan ... After seeing your other video and investigating, it seems the high pressure switch (HPS), which is one of two micro switches near the heater, is always connected or pressed. When I disconnected it's wires, the water now fills, and the program proceeds very nicely, but no drain is going. I just need to check this switch and repair/replace. Thanks a million for the nice ideas!

Hi Jan, my Samsung (the same model in the video) is throwing out an E5 error but the drainage is fine. But it won't clean and is won't dry?

Hi Jan I am au fait with this problem and is always the element or the Thermistor. I have tested the element but am unable to source a thermistor. Do you have any way of me being able to buy one, otherwise the whole machine now becomes obsolete.

Thanks Very nice and helpful video. My dishwasher have same problem, shows no power. I follow same and found fuse is ok. Control panel (user interface) is also ok. I have doubts about mother boards at front bottom which shows burnt marks at EC2- j49, D5, R4, C2 resistor capacitor
