This may be my favorite on the album. It hits me in a really deep emotional place. It reminds me of the love of my life. The one that got away. Havent seen her in 10 years but she still turns up in my Dreams atleast once a week and I wake up wondering where she is or where she went. She would have absolutely loved this band.

I relate to this so hard I almost thought I wrote it. Time makes things a little better, but it doesn’t heal all wounds. Vessel has a way of putting the right combination of words together to express feelings I’ve always wanted to but have never been capable of. It’s beautiful and painful at the same time. @@UnXplainable1 time helps to heal alot of things but not everything. Things definetly get easier as time goes on but every once in awhile there is something that instantly transports me back and I have no control over it. Ive stopped listening to so much music because we used to listen to it or we saw them in concert. Beat wishes to you too my friend. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I've always heard cliche things like "I wonder if they are looking at the moon at the same time as me." For me it's more like "Is she listening to the same band/song I'm listening to and does it remind her of me like it reminds me of her."

This is one of my faves too and considering that it's the song after are you really ok it gotta really hard. To me it feels like the person he was in love with maybe isn't here anymore and they haunt him in his dreams where he's with her and happy but when he wakes up he remembers what happened "wake up in a suicide frenzy loaded dreams still leave me empty.

Great reaction yall. I was jamming so good there right with ya, this song keeps growing on me like the rest of the damn album. These guys are something special. They really do enter the conversation with bands like Tool and the Deftones for their ability to create an atmosphere that just feels so real and present. Multiple songs on this album have instantly hit me with chills on first listen, and that has not happened to me since I discovered Tool. There’s a video that this guy does an interpretation of all three albums and how they tie together, the video is about an hour and a half but after watching it all the songs that slew token has wrote on the three albums make so much more sense to me and what vessel has been writing about. It’s just his interpretation but it’s definitely worth the watch in my opinion

sleep token are just generally regarded as metalcore, while they dont completely fit the mould, metalcore is about fusing hardcore elements like metal with pop elements like clean choruses, rapping etc. Check out r/metalcore to learn more about the genre. Spiritbox, we came as romans, architecs, currents, invent animate, parkway drive, as i lay dying, periphery, polaris, erra etc are examples of metalcore bands even though they all have their different styles.

I've never considered Sleep Token a metalcore band (and, to be honest, I haven't seen many people doing so). They mix progressive rock and metal with elements of indie and R&B. I remember listening to the band for the first time in 2019, when Sundowning came out. That album was full of soft indie stuff that could be noticed in songs such as Take Aim, Levitate, Give, Drag Me Under, Say That You Will and Blood Sport. Moreover, the heavier ones (The Offering, Higher and Gods) sound nothing like metalcore (Gods is the heaviest song on the record but it sounds much more Deftones-esque/alt. metal than metalcore). Yes, I can notice some elements in songs from Take Me Back to Eden, such as The Summoning and Vore, that could be classified as metalcore. However, they're still a small fraction of their whole catalogue, which is very diverse and, most of the times, sort of genreless.
