if you listen carefully enough, youll notice the chorus is the same 3 times but is in the style of the verse that preceded it. the first is slow and melodic, 2nd is very upbeat and trappy and the 3rd is very hard rock. i found these guys in january 2023 from will ramos doi g a cover of chokehold and ive listened to noone else until today 6/6/23🤣

I think you guys are at the point in the Sleep Token journey, that starts to really experience the lyrical power of this band. The story of the three albums is so cool and relateable. Would love to see an album review starting with "Sundowning" it's a great album, lots of songs get callbacks in the latest album. Great video as always. :)

Mannn buddy i could watch y’all react to Sleep Token all day😂🔥 tremendous edit: Have seen them twice, once in 2019 and absolutely blew me away because he sounded better live than record. Saw them 2nd time last year at Rocklahoma in a festival setting and STILL crushed it on a blistering hot and humid day with all their attire on. They are un-fucking-real and have been in my top 5 bands the last 4 years along with Deftones, Tool, Loathe, and Gojira

The singer 'Vessel' has at least a 12 year career of being a more acoustic style singer/song writer which is the writing behind the songs of Sleep Token - combined with a band of musicians who have all had/have established careers in music, it's just a win win. Pass the Pint Glass 🤫✋❔

Awesome reaction guys. Nothing quite like Sleep Token and have been soaking up their stuff since i first heard "The Offering" a few years ago. Mighty proud they are now blowing up, they are on a whole other level. i grew up on Deftones and love me some Loathe so id like to recommend "WOULDYOUWAITFORME" by Moodring. The singer has a tattoo of the whitepony on his face so that should say enough

The way they defy genre is very redolent of Periphery, which is much heavier and djenty generally, but is even more progressive and experimental. Token provides a unique enough experience, though, to be something special and worthy of the praise, especially in the lyricism and composition. Just something about them.

Honestly I’d say listen to the first album all the way through to the second and into this one, and then do a reaction for the whole third album with what you know from the previous albums- the Easter eggs will be well worth it!

Man I adore everything about this band except his clean vocals. I just can't get over how overly stylized he makes it, like he's trying really hard to sound like Lewis Capaldi or something. Really curious to see if that style ends up dating their stuff in the future. Gonna keep listening though because the music really hits, hopefully the vocals click with me eventually.

Sorry to say but your companion is kinda...pretending. She is either / or not that into it / not understanding anything but trying to support and impress you which to be truthful are both incredibly positive traits in a partner and I commend that. She just seems an ill fit for the channel. I'd click that subscribe if it were just you sir. You are very charismatic, knowledgeable and appreciative of the music. Your partner just seems to be...there. I know I'm most likely (almost certainly) coming off as a total dick to be cursed out and dismissed but I'm always truthful. I could even spot more than one miscommunications where one clearly could not understand what the other said and they just smiled and nervously carried on as if it was understood.
