When all the little youngsters on their bicycles met the motorcade at the intersection it bought tears to my eyes. They were probably babies at the time, my nephew included, but they learned of someone who had something in common with us all. Someone despite his weakness his music touched us and made us strong. There was Something about watching the actual procession then segwaying to a group of kids riding their bikes in a pact that gave this video a full circle of life feeling back to innocence sort of cinematic, The reality of death, the hard life lived and the end of the road with a roaring load funeral of engines and grown men to the last minute changing to young men on quiet side streets, on bikes, weaving in and out of traffic popping wheelies... I just left from the event downtown Bklyn. It's safe to say that X officially opened the city up down there because it's super crowded with foot traffic, motorbikes, cars and peddle bikes. I got out of work at about 1:00, then decided to post up to see what was going on. While on Dean Street, Tek of Smiff N Wessun was standing a few feet from me. He eventually went behind the arena where the moster truck carried X's casket.

I’m STILL heartbroken 💔 This the only rapper I made a tribute too when he died. I hate how people claim they loved the deceased when they could careless otherwise but This hit home. I grew up listening to him and many more. Listened to his songs up until he died and this broke my heart. I remember turning up to all his music right before he died. I was celebrating a milestone in my life. I literally cried when he died.
