At the age of 6, DMXs mother knocked 2 of his teeth out with a broom... at the age of 11 she dropped him off at a childrens home after telling him they were only there to visit... at 14 his mentor laced a blunt with crack.... X conquered soooo much in his life and made a name for himself... I will forever love him!!!! Rest easy Dark Man X 💯

Actually, his mother was forced by the state to drop him off at the group home and to not tell him anything. He did not know that as a child.

Yes, it's true. You need just that one person for support to you. My wife left me and her only child ( little boy 8yrs old) for crack. It was rough but I told him we got to do this.( I never spoke to him negative about her.) We did.He's 40 plus , Married, four kids. A 4 bedroom house. Oh by the way he's a train engineer. Thank God.

Definitely a tear jerker...my uncle played this song alot ....growing up...I didn't know he was constantly being put outside...or sleeping on benches in the snow I didn't know .....I didn't know he was the black sheep....I was the black sheep too at the age of 6 I didnt know I was already mourning and coping with music when ur older drugs are definitely offered....my unk told me never take a blunt or drink from no one..I don't if I roll it's mine by myself not no group period... ...I overcame the same circumstances of being put out as a teen outside and made it to the other side of .it ..currently the goat fr.......abundance and love does come...it don't come from humans ...self love is essential...when I'm self critical of self there's no time to be worried ........ unlimited love and happiness was granted to us.......I learned that unlimited love came from birth......after that it's self love....if ya own parent can't fully understand what's wrong with u ...only self knows fr....

DMX is definitely the G.O.A.T! He is my 1# for life. It nearly broke me to lose him, but I listened to his prayers, and I know he's no longer burdened with the pain. DMX was/is loved by so many because he was always real. Struggles of depression, self doubt, believing in faith, etc…it crosses all backgrounds and cultures. I know people who can’t stand rap, won’t listen to it if you paid them…BUT they have every single DMX album and they know every single lyric to his songs. DMX touched so many people and saved a ton of souls. Dude was flawed and never hid it, he was someone that everyone could relate to in some way or another. Rest easy, Darkman X. Respect from Detroit
