First half of this episode got me in my feels y'all. She had to make that moment about herself. The father and eldest daughter come across childish and self-centered because of the potential truth they keep denying. I get that it's hurtful to have one's storyline altered but life can be quite surprising and that's okay. It doesn't matter what age the child/person is when they reach out. The 1st segment made me mad and cry at the same time! At the end of the day our parents know what mistakes they made and for the oldest sibling to sit there as if this was about her irritated me. Their father is a coward to block that poor young man knowing potentially that was his son and to find out it is just shows the disregard people have for another human being. He had to grow up seeing his other siblings have relationships with their father and I am so proud of the positive steps he has made to be a better person and black man everyday. I hope after the show that he was embraced truly as he deserves and so much needed. As people we need to do better when it comes to our children. Its sad that the majority of children out there do not know who their fathers are and who they belong to.
