46 years, you never tried to file immigration documents for own daughter(which is the easiest way to get your daughter in). Try rectifying your mistake by doing it for your grandson, who will complete university to pursue his masters in Germany. In that way, his mom will be pacified that despite your shortcomings, you elevated her son. You will see how your relationship with your daughter will improve.
