these two guys are actually awful people they stole Rosalind's work and gave her like zero credit. How can they be applauded for this despite coming up with the structure? They would've had absolutely nothing if it weren't for her work. Plus I'm pretty sure one of them literally described her as having an ugly appearance in one of his books, demeaning her in a very sexist manner, and yet in 2014 they were still giving this man fame. Shameful.

In light of pilfered data from Dr. Rosalind Franklin, one must wonder whether Watson's riddle solving was little more than a magician's card trick. Watson was brilliant but why weren't Dr. Franklin's contributions made public at the Nobel ceremony.

My favorite time each year is when I can introduce students to this 30 minutes of amazingly REAL magic ! Usually that is in a High School Biology class, but this year I also have 7th grade science students... so they get to see this early in their schooling. Thank You to the thousands of people who did the research and to those who distilled that knowledge into this captivating video story.

Since all scientist agree that "information comes from intelligence", from where does all the amazing interactive "instruction code" in dna come? How much of an act of FAITH would it be to believe it all came about by accident in some primordial puddle? A Football Field high stack of INSTRUCTION CODE in every cell of the body.

Really good doco.....Big big assumption to say that we all have a common ancestor, its too much for science to declare a supreme creator IMO I would say we have a common creator who used the process of DNA chemical software coding to replicate different creatures because you would have to have an enormous leap of faith to believe that this process evolved by itself out of rocks and water in a vacuum of space, there are probably literally hundreds of Earth like planets in the universe, it would be naive and slightly arrogant to think otherwise.

I'm not saying that you can't have your faith, nor that your god is not real. I am saying however that we can tell that we have a common ancestor and that is by observing mitochondrial DNA. Mitochondrial DNA is dna that can only be passed down from mother to offspring, and all of the mitochondrial DNA of every human living on this Earth can be traced back quite far to one common ancestor in Africa.

The comparisons near the end are an absurd attempt at saying their is no god. There are about 3 billion base pairs so a 1% difference is 30,000,000. By saying rats and humans are about 99% alike is to make you think its really close and not point out the 30 million difference between humans and rats. 61% conveniently side steps the1.47 billion base pair difference between fruit flys and humans.
