My surname is Bell and I believe it to be Scottish as my Great Great Grandfather, who was born in Ulster, during the Potato Famine, but according to my Great Aunt he moved back to Paisley to live with family members and he emigrated from Paisley to Philadelphia in 1859. Having done some research I believe my Bell family were Border Reivers originally who went to Glasgow and then some went to Ireland during the Plantation.

Unfortunately we are competing with 10,000 people in the arena! Audio is always less than what we would desire at WDYTYA. Sadly, this is the last year of WDYTYA as it has been cancelled. Hopefully there will be some replacement event in the UK in the future. But this is the final series of WDYTYA videos to be published.

It's pure speculation that we all came out of Africa. The Native Americans, the Australian Aborigines, the people of India and China don't believe it and it's not part of their history. Isn't it at all odd that no one who left Africa stayed 'black' and that people who when East became characteristically Asian (straight black hair, double fold eye lids, small blunt nose, similar skin tones) and no one who traveled up to Europe got those traits and visa versa? The out of Africa theory is just a theory, not a fact.
