I thought it was that there was too much yellow because of the blocking but then i remembered I have the Pollens. I think it's just that the white contrasting side panels make the yellow make that yellow pop too much for most people. I think the black or yellow toe blocking is a better balance.

Dj to be honest in my opinion when comparing the unc and the yellow ochre I loved more the unc pair much better then the yellow ochre cuz my favorite is blue and the unc pair has that light blueish color-way.

They are nice. Not as good as the unc. But very nice. I'm gonna pass on them but only cause I have to many yellow shoes at the moment. I think the reason So many people are passing/hating on them is that the overall color just doesn't pop enough. It's not soft and gentle like the blue in the unc. It's not pop and blam like red. It's just the mute yellow color that sets people off I think

I’m not a fan. I currently have the Jordan 1 taxi. The taxi color so much better. Yellow is a hard shoe to wear. I’m a Steelers fan I only need one yellow Jordan 1. With so many different Jordan 1 to choose from would rather wait for other releases or go back to previous releases and purchase instead
