@@smsno1 One of the few regrets I have about my raving days in the nineties was not getting to more Southern raves. F&S, I don't care what anyone thinks, their tunes were awesome and I genuinely feel sorry for people who never got the chance to rave and sing along to one of their peak-era sets. Standing next to a guy who looked like he wrestled dogs for fun and tortured people for a living crying as he sang and danced his heart out to "Field of Dreams" is a fond memory for me.

Cub Kinetic was all me and my friends used to talk about before we actually went raving, I only ever managed to make it there once, but I still have the compilations they released on c.d's and vinyl and a Stompy "P.A" (the nadir of any rave) where I get second-hand embarrassment for the poor vocalist every time I am brave enough to listen to it.

Decent made but it's Scottish bouncy techno / Dutch Babyboom funcore. Sounds like something from Scott Brown. That 16:28 is 3 Steps Ahead "Drop It" on Pengo. True English happy hardcore should use jungle rollers, jungle subs, and no offbeat bouncy business (regarded as sacrilege). 2 Croozin "2 Pumpin" and Vibes & Dougal "Feel Free" for example are the legit thing. Basically a piano jungle. It was played alongside jungle in England and even intermixed by a few in the same set. Anything else underwent a Scott Brown influence into late 95.
