To be fair, Panic did have his mom there to explain things, and the whole affair was kind of a family matter. Task has had a series of extremely vague instructions with very little personal connection to him. It went from the visions of the red elder dragon to "hey go find a mirror kinda like this one.... but somewhere underground... maybe" to following Log to where Winter was, to being told he's instrumental to something regarding Oriara. I can't really blame him for being a bit fed up since every step just adds more questions than answers.

Honestly my guess is that he will be able to polymorph into a young dragon that will level up to an adult dragon once per day considering the fact that the dragon cultists have an anchient white dragon but they need winter and they need task so in my mind its very clear that darkus is going to be fought with a temporary group power up, That being the dragon mech, But Task will clearly get some sort of power boost akin to what panic has.

Yeah I really hope Task becomes a dragon as well. It would be a really cool way to end this arc and he'd have the same life span as his son. Though I'm trying not to keep my hope too high of thos happening just in case they do something different.

@@demo0831 I mean all you'd have to do is take high level draconic sorcery feats and tie it to long rests. I.e. once a day boost your ac gain flight and can use action to cast dragons breath spell with out using a spell slot (not the literal dragon's breath ability)boom now you have a badass new ability that isn't broken. Hell I'd even say you could do it twice a day depending on how long it lasts.

Technically thats reality warping as the effect of the move is relativistic as the damage stays the same meaning that the characters momentum isnt slower their just moving at the same speed over a longer period of time so Borky, Panic and Greckles should actually be experiencing time rather normally so over all the effect is rather accurate to the theroretical implications of slowing down time

You've got the cause and effect reversed. It's not Oreyara abandoning them that is making them Weapons of Mass Destruction for Gnash, it's Gnash making them Weapons of Mass Destruction that is causing Oreyara to abandon them. He's corrupting them somehow from inside his prison, most likely to subvert Oreyara so that he can be freed.

Because of half-dragons in Prince Division, I've now started to thing about different racial mixes with DND. Because for a human to have a child with another race, that race has to be fairly closely related to humans. Like, humans having kids with elves or dwarves can easily be explained by elves and dwarves being cousin lineages to humans, like how Denisivans and Neanderthals were. Not sure how orcs would fit in, maybe they're more distantly related though that does increase the likelihood that their children would all be sterile. But humans having children with dragons. Nope, not biologically possible. One's a mammal and one's a reptile. The only way it would work is if dragons were somehow able to select which chromosomes go into their reproductive cells, and that opens a whole other can of worms.

When it comes to reproduction, it's best not to try to apply real world logic to the viability of two very different creatures being able to reproduce in a world where magic exists. You're just going to give yourself a head-ache, and have to come up for justifications for the existence of like half a dozen different races. Dragons are pretty much magic incarnate, they can spawn half-dragons with whatever they want.

I think it's corrupted by gnash's influence and not a failure. If it were a normal golem it would still have those same abilities. Btw, some golems have the slow spell as an ability that recharges, and there fore they don't have to concentrate on it. Think of it more like a condition. They are scary bastards and this one was nerfed down to the partie's level.

Technically yes. Some DMs nerf smite (since they can declare smite on hit) to once per turn based on a perceived OP paladin bias as if it's shortcomings don't balance it.

No, what the concentration does is highly dependant on what smite you use. For searing, the concentration is for "At the start of each of its turns until the spell ends, the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d6 fire damage." . If you use Branding Smite, the concentration is for the secondary effect of preventing creatures from going invisible. The damage on hit is 1 time only.

Well, out of all the God-related shenanigans, Task's has definitely felt like a series of wild goose chases. When the group faced Stillhavity they had Lys guiding them. In the realm of Discord, Mrs. Panic's Mom guided them. Task's journey? Weird heat in his chest, visions of an ancient red dragon, told to go find a mirror.... somewhere. Possibly undergound-ish. Darkus needing him alive for reasons unknown. And now Oriara needs him for.... reasons unknown.
