[DNF] Ghostblade Combo Video

Just for anyone new the video, I will be releasing another Ghostblade shortly on some tech options you can do with the character and explaining how it works. Just note, I work on the recording and editing myself so it may take more time than Id actually like to finish it :D. In most games your bread and butter combo is all you need to know with situational differences, whats getting me excited to lab this game is how the combos are situational to how much mana you have to work with, and if I understand mana regen correctly, certain normals might lead to more mana since they have more hits despite other normals doing bigger damage. So it seems like having improv ability or a wide array of combos under your belt might be worthwhile

It shouldn't be in all seriousness 2B into 4S is kinda a bitch to land midscreen or in the corner and its definitely just a practice thing.

It's from the MMO this game is based on DFO or Dungeon Fighter Online. The track is called Final Pursuit. So DFO OST Final Pursuit There is a remixed version in this game actually

Hello , i'm unable to link 2b 4s , do you have any tips or maybe why It's not working ? I've try to do as fast as i can or wait a little nothing help it doesn't connect. Btw good video pretty useful ! maybe for the next one can you show the input directly in the screen in the UI ? thx a lot !

You might be hitting the 2B too late. Depending on the route you can microdash in the corner to get closer to do it. More often than not, I just usually do 4S raw if it was done directly after 2S.

I know these are Day 1 'optimal' combos, but I have to ask: how much of this is represented in the In-game Combo Trials? Want to know if it is worth doing those or if i should just use this vid or lab myself?

So some of the ideas for these combos came from trials. It was just mashing them up together in certain sequences that came to the combo routes that I have.

200 MP combos would still pretty much work the same way as depicted like you can remove certain moves like 5S so you dont prorate your combos to hell but it would still practically be the same.

if youre referring to the notation, check this out www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php/Notation its just saying what direction im pointing. so 5 is neutral. 2 is down, 4 is left, 6 is right etc like a numpad

Idk fam have you tried Enchantress lmfao. .. I dont think his routes are that bad but im used to play execution heavy characters.

@@Teiga93 Enchantress is definitely hard lol after giving the game more time and getting ghostblades timing down my damage is way more consistent but some of the other characters do equal to or more damage with like 8 hits. BTW the combos in this vid are damn good 👍

All these combos are impossible. Getting the spin state on JS is completely random for me. Even if I get the perfect string (2 ghost hit, 2 hit jS, 1 ghost hit). Someone wanna teach me how to force the opponents spin state?

So in other words theyre not useless, you just dont know how to apply them properly. . . Two different statements. Personally I roll in order to kill enough frames for me to get the timing that I want. Try doing it in the corner for a bit and when you get comfortable with the timing try going to midscreen with it.

@@LordCrimson78 Yeah, I'm referring to 6G. I come from a game where a forward moving defensive mechanic is called roll so im just referring to it as that but in DNF, it would be called dodging.
