Best fighting game character guide I've ever seen, straight up. Breaking down the mindset of the moves while showing good examples is so helpful. You got his gameplan, strengths, weaknesses, and a light combo guide in and you wasted no time. 👍

Looking at this guide, I'm proud of myself. I've been doing a lot of the things mentioned within this video. I think my only problem right now is not having enough experience fighting other characters. I would love to battle sometime.

Yes matchup knowledge is super important! Everyone’s so strong and each one turns into a chess match haha Let’s do it, I’m still working on my streaming stuff but drop a follow on the twitch link and I’ll go live sometime this week or next with an open lobby. Hopefully we’re on at the same time

This was extremely dope! Just picked this game up yesterday and am accepting my L’s until I learn character matchups. Appreciate the upload!!

Yup this game is all about character knowledge! You’ll be stacking dubs in no time with that approach

Best guide I've seen The only guide where combos include the 2S 2B routes and his shennanigans.. Good cover on his neutral game My Ghostblade is peak rn With 200mp Try ender from (falling opponent) 2B 4S 214M while squeezing in 4S Teleport X3 while ghost does its thing , Helm Breaker Fest

Hah! Yeah Ghostblade really is like a blend of the technical puppet style and the mid range powerhouse of Nago.

I know this isnt the best place to ask this cuestion but I have a huge problem with the online where it doesent let me play cause my history data is damaged and then asks me to reeboot them, I do it and then says there is a problem with the network. If been trying to solvet cause i really want to play online but it frustrates me, any ideas how to solve it? By the way I have internet that´s not the problem

Appreciate the straightforward and to the point explanation. A lot of YT content is fluff attempts at entertainment by people who are more interested in trying to run up the clock (waste people's time). Got the game on release but didnt stick with it. Trying to get back into it. SF6 has been a major disappointment to me just like 5 ended up being after giving it a chance for 3 yrs. SF4 has been my main game since its release. The resurgence of 2D fighters had been great, but seems like everyone drops the ball somewhere… Nothing else has held my attention like 4 has. Kind of sad when I think about it.

Yeah fam, I like learning things fast so I try to make guides that I would want to watch without the padding lol Yeah nothing has held me for as long as MKX did. But I’m sure that one special fighting game will come along for both of us eventually.

Thank you man. I absolutely love this character but i’ve been taking L’s left and right. This video made me understand the character way better and made me realize what i was doing wrong. Not using back S enough!
@JayPhoenix2 жыл бұрын
Yes, no free jump ins! And guard cancel the crazy stuff too! There’s some even better combos than the ones here too and once you master those you’ll be winning rounds in two touches.
@ZyxWhitewind2 жыл бұрын
Good job. Surprised there isn’t that many new guides for Ghost Blade. You’re the first I heard to mention the safe jump option. Is that from any back s ender in the corner and jump medium?
@JayPhoenix2 жыл бұрын
Yes, to my knowledge you get it off any Back S. You just have to dash for a second to get the timing right in most characters. For characters with the faster DP’s like Striker, and Inquisitor you might have to go a little sooner, haven’t tested it thoroughly though.

I appreciate the guide bro...one thing im a bit confused about tho is his awakening...it says "It increases damage to your opponent when you're hit or guarded against"....can u explain what they mean?
@JayPhoenix2 жыл бұрын
Anytime you hit them you do more damage. So in the case that they block, you do more chip damage when they block your MS attacks
@RedLineOneGC2 жыл бұрын
@@JayPhoenix oh ok cool, it kinda confused me when it said they take more damage when IM hit, or guarded by them

Thanks my guy been trying to get into different fighting games besides mk and bought this and have been getting my ass handed too me lol 😂. Its fun game though and yeah the no DP is definitely messing me a little whenever i get pressured.

I loved MK X!! Eleven I didn’t vibe with sadly I can recommend a character that might fit the NRS games playstyle a little better. Who did you main in MK?
@ericwilliams79452 жыл бұрын
@@JayPhoenix yeah man I played the shit of mk11 lol and I mained scorpion , fujin, and rain for the most part. So far I’ve been doing alright with ghostblade but I’ve definitely been losing more then I’ve been winning.
@JayPhoenix2 жыл бұрын
@@ericwilliams7945 Hurd you Go Hitman or Troubleshooter since they have good “weighty” attacks that feel similar to scorpion combos in execution. Berserker might be worth a look as well. Fujin I only played a little by the time he came out but if I remember correctly he had some set play stuff with wind specials. Dragon Knight is like the go to set play character right now. But Ghostblade has a lot of that too 😅 just the lack of DP hurts I will say, if you wanna stick with Ghost, use guard cancel often if you aren’t already. You don’t gotta hold shit! Smack em away
@ericwilliams79452 жыл бұрын
@@JayPhoenix thanks 🙏🏿 my man definitely gonna check these characters you mentioned, especially hitman and yeah unfortunately it took a few L’s for me to start using guard canceling more lol

You can try looking for the big yellow and orange slash mark that pops up when a hit lands instead of the blues are a little disorienting.
