Mobile telecommunications and multiple broadcasters have brought alot of opportunities. 2) selfish interests aka corruption which consists of less than 0.0000001% of population but inflicts untold damage to the economy;- these are held by individuals in position of authority whose only horizon is personal benefit. 3) People like former president Mwai Kibaki who understand the way to economic growth and development;- this is a rare group in Kenya. 4) The rest of the people have no idea about what is going on and for what reason; This group consists of 99% of the population and they makes significant contribution to the economy through Labour/ employment and all forms of legit self employment. Government policy and development should always target to help this group become more and more productive.
