165 PSI seems excessive for the main chamber. Are you positive that's not the maximum pressure?
@bikecentral60906 жыл бұрын
I thought so too when I first read the manual which recommends 165 PSI for 220 LBS. The maximum pressure is 180 PSI. Although 165 seems excessive, sometime it does not feel enough for my weight.
@thiosemicarbizidebenzoylal29216 жыл бұрын
@@bikecentral6090 I checked it out and you are correct. The rebound and the lockout lever should be adjusted for your liking because the shock is top notch and fully adjustable. Your Bike is also buildable as a 27.5 as well and two sets of wheels really opens up the bikes potential. There is also a 42 tooth sprocket for a cassette that's cheap to make it a 1x drivetrain. That bike is fully capable as a real world trail bike, and you should see the XR PRO videos. Kev central didn't explore the 27.5 wheelset option yet. That frame is far more serious as a bike than most people realize and it will accept a 27.5 2.4 inch tire for trail. Check out XR PRO on you tube and that guy has built a SERIOUS trail bike.

Thiosemicarbizide Benzoyl Alcohol Thank you for admitting that I'm right, lol. I am a true newbie to MTBking, and I wanted a bike that could grow with me as I get better. KevCentral helped me a lot after Project XR Stage 1. Like you said, the XR-Pro is the most customizable bike I could get for under $500. It's a 29er, may I know why one would drop it to 27.5? I have upgraded the entire bike except for the crankset (what would you recommend

@@bikecentral6090 You will need a NEW CASSETTE, 1X CRANK WITH BOTTOM BRACKET. If you want to go to 1x11 then you can find everything on ALIEXPRESS, but a 1x10 is about 90 bucks with a 50 tooth cassette on Aliexpress. MAKE YOUR BIKE A 1X, BECAUSE YOU DONT NEED THE OTHER CHAINRINGS UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET TO 40MPH BY PEDALING. CHECK OUT ALIEXPRESS FOR A 1X10 FOR DIRT CHEAP. THIS STUFF WORKS AND ITS EASY TO INSTALL. There is a 8 speed 44 tooth cassette that's HUGE and should be all that you need for the trail and you can use the same derailleur.
