I definitely wasn't against the idea of re-signing Blackwood especially if he showed more consistency than Georgiev did. But to sign him this fast after such a small sample size is a real gamble. But it's one I really hope that ends up working out.

The contract is potentially excellent but the timeline is aggressive. Im sure lots of Avs fans are feeling pretty nervous about it. Id also like to point out that 5.25/ is really not THAT much for a starting goalie and would be moveable, especially towards the ends.
