DO AKITA GET SEPERATION ANXIETY

Oh lord, does my male get separation anxiety or WHAT! He isn't destructive, but he only ever HOWLS when he misses his family and wants to be near us. Follows me room to room. Whimpers from downstairs when he hears me wake up in the morning upstairs. We just got back from out of town and he stayed with my parents and man was that boy worn out mentally shortly after getting home. Big baby! With his family he is a total love dog. Around other dogs he is a fighter. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

I went overseas for a few weeks and My Akita stayed with my family. My neigbours called the counsel because my boy kept howling at night. My brother explained that I was overseas and he missed me and was sad. My brother rang me to tell me what was going on, and I cried & then i Fainted. I dont know who has worse separation anxiety, me or my baby bear 😳

Any living eurkaryotic cellular organism can develop anxiety separation. Bears, deers, calfs, Canines, Felines, ducks, you get the idea

I stopped crating my akita before she was 6 months old lol. She out grew the kennel she flew in on and im not the kind to buy unnecessary stuff. Animals are not meant to be crated. Periodt! 🇲🇦🇺🇲🇲🇦
