Do all long term governments become corrupted ? Singapore PAP - 60 yrs, India BJP likely - 15 yrs
As a KZbin vlogger for "BirdsofGanges," I find myself in a unique position to observe and comment on the political landscapes of both my home country, India, and my current residence, Singapore.
Despite being 3000 km away, I stay updated with the Indian elections, feeling a pang of regret this year as I couldn't exercise my democratic right to vote.
The *People's Action Party (PAP)* of Singapore, despite being in power for over 60 years, has shown remarkable dedication towards the development of the nation. While long-term parties can veer towards dictatorship, it's not always the case that they harbor ill intentions or become corrupt.
As an Indian, I've noticed a shift in how India and Indians are perceived globally. We're now recognized for our niche skills, and India is seen as a growing power. This transformation is largely due to the efforts of the current Indian government. Despite the distance, my heart remains closely connected to India, and I'm proud to see its progress. Simultaneously, living in Singapore allows me to appreciate the stability and growth a long-standing party can provide when guided by the right principles.
