The movie is magnificent. The direction is super by Dulal Guha. The songs are great. The acting of Amitabh ji and Rekha ji is super. The super acting by respected Pradip kumar and the actress who played mother are really remarkable. The excellent acting by respected Utpal Dutta is unforgettable. This movie was released in KOLKATA in 1976 at Basushree cinema hall of KOLKATA not only that the shooting of this movie ""Do Anjane ""done in this cinema hall Basushree. I have seen that Amitabh ji and Rekha and Utpal Dutta coming out from the Basushree hall at night 2 am. Then was a great craze of Amitabh Bachchan. The movie was super duper hit. The story and dialogues are very very realistic and middle class life oriented. Their dreams and expectation and their demands and conspiracy by a villain character is vital. Yes,Prem Chopra acted superbly. The day when I saw Amitabh ji Rekha and respected Utpal Dutta is still a golden memory stored in my mind forever. Really eternally unforgettable. Then I was only 15/16 years old. Mithun Chakraborty acted only in two scenes in this movie then no one knew that Mithun Chakraborty would be a Super star within coming two or three years. 29/10/21/.

Most of the film shows fixed mindset. And circle of influence( mohalla valle) who controls or restricts your growth and importantly restricts your thinking. They have no bearing on your life but you still live within those constraints. You should always strive to achieve more. Changing mindset to growth mindset is a start. Wanted to always watch it not because of Amitabh Bachchan or Rekha but the then newcomer, Mithun Chakraborty in the Indian film industry when I was totally obsessed with him in late 2005, his only two scenes with dialogues reminisced of how he would later adapt that same tone in his career a decade later In the end the storyline was usual but the climax was the best part of this film along with Amitabh Bachchan's acting chops With regards and lots of love from a fan of old school Bollywood across the border ❤
