i discuss childhood favorites of mine known as thrillville and thrillville off the rails. they are theme park management sims made for consoles and PC post-RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. do i like them? honestly idk lol they kind of left me wishy washy and wanting it done better

yeah the only way to play OG thrillville now is to have a physical copy on PS2 or PSP, and north america has it on the classic Xbox as well. it can also be emulated on PC, but forums say it’s got stability and lighting issues

I agree with the point about the game's style encouraging your connection to it. While you can still look at guests thoughts in most games to get an idea of how the park is doing, having it voiced in a direct and personal feeling way encourages a lot of immersion imo. That and creating an avatar you see in game, it's like inviting you to be a part of the world. That and you gaining a sort of on the ground perception of the park, it's neat to see how the scenery and such really compliments the experience. If it were to come back, would love to see some more park customizability, rather than you just slotting new stuff in
