The AP Slugs (12x70mm Armor-Piercing Slug) were a VERY popular ammo choice during the closed beta; however, after a significant nerf to shotgun slug accuracy, the AP slugs have since been pushed to the wayside.
So, are they still any good? To be honest, AP slugs are just OKAY. They’re mostly viable in normal mode, where players use weaker armor that the AP slug can penetrate (it only has 35 pen, after all). The problem with AP slugs in Lockdown or Forbidden is twofold: 1. You won’t have an easy time penetrating tier 4 armor and above, and 2. With the accuracy nerf, headshots are incredibly unreliable beyond 20 meters or so.
All that said, I think AP slugs have found a decent balance post-nerf, making them a good budget option for fighting lesser-geared players, but I’d leave them out of Forbidden.

@So1oStrats u should just try to take things apart and see all the variations of tetras u can do For example if you fold an AEK and take of the mag u make it a 3×1 item that you definitely could fit in there and also could have taken home the f2000 Also ur equipped rig was low capacity , should have put the biggest rig on equip and took the next biggest rig in backpack and stuffed it full of items Also some white items are fine to take since u can exchange for nice stuff at Deke Vinson which sell for more on the market GG ,I'm just gonna backseat cause I can't afford a fkn PC lmao

Brother! I would say this shotgun is so meta today. In my 4 games there are always shotgun enjoyers in Motel though they are not using the AP Slug.

In case you don't know: Rush backpacks, AMP7 and other similar size backpacks have more space inside than they take up. I notice you don't often nest backpacks, but many backpacks can increase the amount of slots you will have. I do understand weight limit, but if you're not carrying tons of armor and guns, its good

This is why i use type 8 buckshot or RIP slugs, far more effective at taking all levels of people out. Especially with the saiga

Saiga scav is what I have learned to call terminator scavs. They literally spawn in like 15-20 meters from a player and rush them. I have witnessed it multiple times as a tac ops, and have actually seen it first hand spawn and everything as a scav. Shits broken af

Bots in general are broken and annoying af,in mobile i cant make a proper flank on my enemy because they spawn like 2 bots infornt of me and 1 bot behind me chasing me,yesterday i tried flanking enemy while my teammates were distracting them,as soon as i started flanking boom a bot spawned infornt of me,i kill it,i almost got behind an enemy,boom 3 more bots spawn behind me and shred my armor and health,and another thermal squad comes and kills all of us because of fucking bots that were being spawned on my ass

I recommend looking at the tag as the first thing you should do if you want to loot a dead guy, so there’s no confusion and conflict

​@@So1oStrats You're correct. RIP Slugs are CRAZY for leg damage, But unfortunately they don't seem to work at the moment. Everyone has switched to budget MP5's with tier 4 ammo cause it's far more effective and auto 😅 so you just usually get one tapped if you're not running decent armour, Making it useless as budget ammo/build
