Do we need a recognized goalscorer? Yes. Does it need to be a striker, no. Benzema was Real Madrid's striker. Ronaldo was Real Madrid's top goalscorer.

Honestly with the way we play, it can be a little hard to say if what we need is definitely a striker. What we do need for sure is elite ball strikers and finishers.

We need backup for Saka. Jesus presses even harder than Havertz. We have options.

We need Zirkzee for 30-40 mil and then buy in the midfield and the wing. A striker doesn’t solve the problems we have, an attacking 8 does, someone to actually break lines and take people on through the center once they deploy 3 people on Martinelli and Saka.

I would get a superstar striker/ goalscorer and a versatile up and coming winger - one that we can develop over the next few seasons. But keep in mind we also need another defender and a midfielder with possibly a lot of players leaving (Cedric, Mo, Nelson, Eddie and maybe Partey and ESR)

No, we don’t need a goalscorer. We have to maximise the quantity and quality of our possession, ball progression, chance creation. So that anyone who happens to get to the end of those chances, can have an extremely easy chance to score. A skillful, tricky, tekky, silky, technical, creative, tiki taka capable false 9 is going to help maximising that. So that we can maximise the TOTAL number of goals we can score as a TEAM.

Yes I see so many crosses, passes, rebounds that are in the box and no one to do something Our most deadly attackers are in the flanks which is not good. Teams like Fulham, West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Porto need that physical presence. We need a cheat code big teams have that in Haaland, Salah, Son, Kane, Mbappe, Bellingham, Osimhen, Vlahovic, and more

Zirkzee is the ultimate Arteta striker. If we don’t buy him, we’re going to be eating our asses. Gyokeres is a typical Tottenham signing. Let them have him, couldn’t care less if he scores 50 for them.

I've followed Osimhen right from his cadet days in the Nigerian national team and also closely during the 2019 AFCON especially under Austin Eguavoen's tenure as Nigeria's coach and i can assure you, Osimhen is tactically sound and would only vastly improve under Arteta's set up while also improving the team. It's such a shame Mikel Obi is likely going to deceive him into signing for an unstable club like Chelsea that has to start from scratch all over again with rebuilding which could affect him if things go bust when they as usual take the short cut to success instead of coming to an already settled team like the Arsenal. We do need a more potent CF with 20+ goals in his legs though and Osimhen will be a hugely successful investment for the club

Actually i do like havertz stay playing as 9 since he really provide more support off the ball but he's lack in finishing, hopefully he'll improve by time. So i think gyokeres will suit the team who is physically strong, clinical in front of goal and high work rate as a cover or backup for tactical changes

The only striker I see that would walk into this Arsenal team is Gyokeres, reasons are much deeper than his obviously great season so far. His body as an athlete is perfectly suited for Arsenal, 6”2 quick, good in buildup as well as his back to goal, great finishing and very instinctive positioning and movement off the ball makes this guy nearly perfect for Arteta playing style

Get Kimmich mid and defensive cover. Havertz and Trossard up front is more sustainable than Jorginho. Next a winger Niko Williams maybe. Still got money maybe Sesko, he has a pretty low release clause

You didn't still answer the question but I'd answer that it's a yes Maybe not Osimhen but Viktor Gyökeres or Alexander Isak is fine Even Dusan Vlahovic and Benjamin Sesko are decent Ivan Toney and Evan Ferguson are PL proven but too expensive hence I'd go with Viktor Gyökeres or Alexander Isak if we manage to get pull it off ESR for Isak to sweeten the deal Maybe 😊

Our new number 8. would be Declan Rice. If Arsenal buys Amadou Onana from Everton, Rice can evolve into a number 8. Onana is very good in aerial duels, ground duels and tackles. He is young (22), and Arsenal could buy for around £55 million. Even less, if Everton get relegated. (Declan Rice has also showed he can play in a 8. position in recent weeks, when Jorginho has played DM)

i think Arsenal should buy benjamin Sesko. He is fast, strong, good header, good dribbler and have nice link-up play. He is only 20, wich means he is young and will be even better with time, and also gives him more time to adapt to Arteta`s strategi. He has a release clause at £43 million wich is extremely cheap. The winger should be Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao. He is young, fast, very good 1v1. WOuld be a nice backup for Saka and Martinelli, and can also play on both flanks, right and left. It is rumored that he has a £50 million release clause in his contract, wich i think Arsenal should just activate.

The fans want a fantasy football number 9. Arteta is going to instead spend big money on another 8, one who can play alongside Ødegaard in front of Rice. There will be a forward incoming, but he would be primarily a right-side attacker who can also fill in across the front three when needed. I'd also expect a 6 to replace the departing Partey/Elneny.

This arsenal need a striker is getting annoying. The likes of haaland & kane are not hanging about looking for a team to join. These types of goalscorers are really rare and already committed to their clubs. Personally think we have great potential in the likes of saka and martinelli to give us 20+ goal a season consistently so we should focus on further developing them than going to sink 100m on an unproven epl player... Like the way klopp turned salah into a lethal 25+ goals a season striker is what we should be looking to emulate not run and sink 100m+ on an unproven player when other areas in the team need to be addressed..
