That's true but according to the stereotype (e.g. in American high school movies) it does. But you're right. My cousin is a nerd in his 70s. He has a lot of nerdy traits, i.e. he's intellectual, studious and logical, and he even looks the part (he's thin and has worn glasses for most of his life). But he is also confident and assertive, has been happily married since the age of 26 and had fairly well-paid jobs for most of his working life. No doubt some of the jocks and "cool people" would see him as "square" or boring, but I'm pretty sure he couldn't care less. They're not interested in him and he's not interested in them. My cousin is white by the way (and so am I). Just thought I should disclose that.

nerds are the ones who don't go along with social trends and they do their own thing . yes some of them are highly intelligent and have some of the best jobs . I was a nerd in high school . but because of my captivating personality I caused people to gravitate towards me . hell I still am a nerd I like comic books and action figures , I don't follow trends , and for the most part I think social media is a metaphorical disease that is ruinning society .

This is largely false. Most nerds, especially in the black community are suppressed by most of the people around them. This is really prevalent in school, as they get older into high school this becomes more extreme so many nerds simply just lay back as they cannot be their natural selves (and thus making it appear as though they don't have any social skills) and could even face bullying in most schools.

Nope. I grew up in a small city where their was predominantly 4 black famlies. Someone in our families were married to each other, we all grew up together at family events and wedding s. When we got to highschool things changed I was a jock, lettered in 3 sports highly recruited in football ranked in country for 2 of my sports but I "acted white" because I got good grades and didn't hang out on the corner and fight everyone. The nerdy black girls didn't want to date me because they wanted the cool black guys , They didn't want to get to know be, hang out or even be just friends. But the other kids (white and asian) did want to hang out, be friends even the "cool" girls. 20yrs later I'm the same guy and all that hard work as a teenager got me all the stuff I need in life and I'm living good. At work I'll meet a black lady my age and we'll talk about life and kids, I bring up the fact I've been with my wife for 20yrs the next question is "your wife is white isn't she" NOW I'm a sell out because I'm successful and with the white girl that's had my back for the pass 21 yrs, since we were 20 in college eating PBJ and ramen.

I have an opinion about this. It's not only the dating aspect, it's how nerds are treated by black women. Everyone wants a partner that is very charismatic and no one wants to be shallow. Black women tend to be more dismissive of people who are different. Many times I have seen the situation that a man who is socially awkward approach black women and she humiliates the man (This has happened to me many times). However when approaching other races, he knows that the let down will be a lot less humiliating. People who are different will always have a difficult time dating regardless of race. However for some reason black women tend to push harder to make sure that these people do not approach them again. Other races will be more accepting (not entirely), but less of a chance of a negative experience on the side of the person who is different. It's a toss up between: I'm sorry, you're a nice guy, but I don't see you that way, but we can talk and Being insulted, being emasculated It's all about attitude.

I had trouble dating SPECIFICALLY black women. Every other race no problem. They even pursued me from time to time. I tried talking to a fellow band geek in high school and she laughed in my face infront of her friends. Black nerdy women don’t like nerds either. Another thing I’ve experienced and I know plenty of men who have is that black women don’t reject you, they emasculate you. A big part of the reason I don’t enjoy engaging with women is because many of these situation were traumatizing when I was younger and women seem to just be meaner. Being pan doesn’t help either. If you’re a black nerd, just make money and focus on interest and hobbies. Even after I had more success with women in my later years, it was just physical. Something about who you are will put them off just enough for them to sleep with you but too ashamed to be with you
