❤❤❤ Local nurseries often have healthy 6 packs of veggie and flowers that thrive in local area. They cost less one plant. Your advice is good.

Here in SE Michigan we have a grower called Block's. You get a whole flat of plants for less than one Bonnie plant.

Growers solution soil tests tell you way way more than the local extension offices do. They sell a soil test that is great.

The fastest compost I ever did was tons of pond weeds mixed with fresh loads of wood chips and a few leaves along with the usual kitchen scraps. The pond weed burn up the wood chips faster than anything so far. But it sure stinks.

The best rock dust that nobody processes and sells is crushed lava flow basalt because it has all the right minerals in the right amounts mixed with saw dust or wood chips. I know because I did it. I grew beef steak tomatoes that were supposed to get to 1 pound that got to 2 and 3 pounds. I grew peppers as big as cantaloupe and other things

I recently started growing veggies and berries in my backyard. I'm using the same super soil recipe that I use when I grow cannabis and so far my veggies and berries are thriving 😂.
