20 year olds wanting preventative Botox reminds me of I was in my 20s and telling my derm (who was treating me for acne) that I used eye creams to stop wrinkles and lines. He stared at me for a minute, told me that was unnecessary at my age, then said if I had any wrinkles or lines around my eyes when I turned 40 to come back and he'd treat them for free. I stopped using the eye cream and when I turned 40 I had no need for his free offer lol And that is my random story for the day. 😄

Exactly. It’s everything that she does- Botox and fillers included- that helps. No one (at least I hope) can actually believe that her skincare routine is the sole reason for her look. Genetics only do so much - her whole face shape changed, skin keeps getting tighter, jawline more pronounced. No amount of skincare will give that

You should dedicate a video to what lasers/treatments (not retinols but actual in office treatments only) you have and what skin concerns they are all best for. I know you showed something similar but I mean even more in depth and covering all issues like acne, pigmentation, scarring, texture etc.! 🥰 Also Kim has even shown on tv how she has her esthetician and derm coming into her home to do treatments. How lucky!

How much of KK's "good skin" is actually good Photoshop skills? How much is skillfully applied makeup? How much is being able to spend thousands of dollars on products, and having time to spend hours a day using them? How much is only being seen by the public when one is fully prepared for the cameras? The true test of whether KK, or anyone has good skin is to send them off backpacking for a weekend, then have them come home, shower off all the sunscreen and grime, and look at their totally bare face.

On point with every single word! One more thing to add in regards to botox. Hope it could be helpful. There are certain health conditions that do not agree with botox. For ex: I had my thyroid gland removed 4 years ago. Have been instructed by: my surgeon, endocrinologist and dermatologist that botox diminishes significantly the effect of medications I have to use. Hope this helps.p.s. And yes! My dermatologist for 20 years keeps emphasizing that the key is HEALTHY skin (inside&out), referring to skin texture primarily. I'm 49. Obviously cannot do botox. Has had no fillers either, so far. Thanks to her expertise and my longtime discipline (day in/day out for years) my skin is and looks healthier now than in my early 30s.

Where you used the SA soap on damp skin and left it for a minute before rinsing it off. I got a little tingling on my face, I thought ‘that is brilliant’. I am near 75 and started using Oil of Olay retinol and my spots have faded only a bit so I thought I would risk it.I applied the retinol after with no side affects. Yay! I’m planing a trip to my dermatologist soon to check for skin cancer and ask about what I could be doing. I have the sunken face you spoke about so wish me well. Thank you for explaining so well about procedures. 💕

Hi Dr shereene, I love watching your educational videos about skincare. I've purchased a bunch of products based on your recommendations, especially as we're in winter mode over here and my skin is dry and flaky, the products that you've recommended for winter hydration is great and makes a huge different, my skin is plumb and smooth and my breakouts is no longer a problem❤ The other problem that is stressing me out at the moment is botox resistance. Have you ever experience it with your clients? I've been having botox injections for over 10 years now, every 3 months as I like that smooth stretch forehead😅. However in the last couple of years I find that botox no longer have the same effects on me as it use to, lasting only a few weeks if not at all😩. So I recently went on a whole year of botox free to wash it out of my system before trying Xeomin a month ago to re-start, as I've heard that it beings a protein free (naked botox) it will less likely to create a frenzy with your immune system and causing a resistance to occur. However, I am now 3-4 weeks in and my face is not set, although the lines are not as pronounce, especially around my eyes, but I do have full movements on my forehead😓. Is there anything I can try or do differently, or am I now just wasting my money? I just don't want to give it up as I don't like seeing lines creeping up on my face, I am that vain that I just don't like it when people say "just aged gracefully"🤪 Please if you can do a video on the different botox and possible botox resistance🙏❤

That tells me that some things in the line probably shouldn't be used together (every product seems to contain niacinamide, which tends to pill on me.) Also, there are 2 facial oils, but no cleansing oil or balm. And the 2 oils they do have are WAY to expensive to use as a first step in a cleansing routine!
