How about payments for a cell phone I have money for a new phone. Instead of me buying it whole what if I do payments. Can that boost my credit score?

It all depends on if the company from whom you're financing the phone and if they report the payments to credit bureaus. If they do, then that type of installment loan can build credit. Otherwise, it won't. Also, remember you don't just have one credit score, you likely have dozens of different ones.
