Uh, Chiefs barely beat the Bengals, bruh. They didn't move the ball, none, after Mahomes fumbled in third quarter. Their offense stopped at twenty. It took a bad punt and hitting Mahomes out of bounds for the Chiefs to win. Two of those four teams have great offenses. The Lions scored 30 points eight times this season, the same number of times as the Chiefs. The Cowboys with Dak were 6/14 in scoring 30. The Commanders didn't actually score 30 on offense. They got a defensive TD on the final play. And if you watched the Packers game, you'd know the Eagles were in control the entire time. If we want to have this discussion, the Chiefs allowed the Broncos to score the most point they had all season in both of their games to that point. If you want to talk about strength of schedule, let's look at the shared opponents in the AFC South. They both beat the Jags in regulation. The Chiefs lost to the Colts while the Eagles beat them. The Chiefs needed OT to beat the Titans (with a QB that couldn't throw the ball) and the Texans. The Eagles decisively beat both teams. All of this is relevant as long as we're criticizing the Eagles for their defense in week 1.

So if they can put up 30, you don’t think the MVP of the league, the best QB in the NFL and it’s not close can put up 30🤔… Strength of schedule isn’t about shared opponents. Chiefs have always played down to their competition. Mahomes averages over 30+ points in his career in the playoffs and he’s only evolved at the position. If his ankle is at least 90%, chiefs win by 7.

Out of the pocket or in the pocket, same result. Just look at how he coped with no Tyreek Hill and all the injuries that the Chiefs had this season. Written off in pre-season, pundits suffering from great fatigue always looking for other QB's to challenge him and take his throne. They constantly fall short. I'm starting to see a contradiction with the margin of error between QBs...did we not just watch Chad Henne step in for Mahomes and play flawlessly...whereas Minshew looked like a deer in headlights. The chiefs have a good offense and an offensive genius with Andy Reid. Both Qbs need to be B+ or better to win. It will come down to QB play. Eagles for the win though.

The pressure the Chiefs offense will put on the defense will likely cause the Eagles to have to score quite a bit which means Jalen has to play with high completion percentage...most drives need to have a TD or FG and no interceptions. Joy Taylor and Shady are the only realists on this panel. Anybody who thinks this Chiefs O Line hasn't faced this level of D Line talent is crazy. They have played BOTH Joey and Nick Bosa and beaten them both. This Chiefs across the board has played top 5 "ranked" defenses all season long. Regardless of what Helman thinks, SF was the #1 ranked defense when they lost in the Superbowl to the Chiefs. Buffalo had the #1 ranked defense and got beat in the playoffs by the Chiefs. You have strength on strength here. That sack record put up by Philly would not be anywhere near what it is, had they faced the quality of QB that the Chiefs did all season. I believe that BOTH O Lines and D Lines for Philly performed well this year because they faced lesser opponents all season long. Lastly, Andy Reid is nearly unbeatable off the bye. No other coach in history has a better record off the bye. Chiefs win by 10.

Has anybody on this panel took a look at the Eagles schedule this past season? When most of your schedule has been subpar teams, your defense and offense can look really good against mediocre opponents. By all means, Philly has a great team, no doubt about it, but when you get on the biggest stage against an opponent who's defense stats dont justify the way they play in the playoffs,(Chiefs) and your own defense will face an offense unlike what the Philly's defense has had throughout the season, either team is equally favored to win. Thats why the line is -1. Just my take. I really dont think any sports analyst would bet their savings on either team. Commentary is easy to do.
