Also what the first one means by attentive is the Latin American being very passionate and giving his time. Whereas, the second one seems to be lamenting how the Latin American stops giving attention when he has another younger chica he is giving his attention to. Also U.S. Americans can be quite the gentleman and devoted, at least in my generation and older, although we will still spend a lot of time on our work so in that sense we will not just be spending the whole day in the bed giving her orgasms and kisses. USA guy here. 25 Years ago I did some work in Monterrey Mexico. Monterrey is a working industrial city and not a tourist town so that atmosphere was different. I spent about 40% of my time there over 1.5 years. It was a wonderful experience. I didn't know a word of Spanish before I started but by the end could get by modestly well. Since the weather is on average warmer than Seattle, especially in the spring and fall, I noticed people were out and about more in the evenings. I thought that was really nice.

You may have heard of the Seattle Freeze@@_Mr.D. It's a comment on how difficult it can be to meet people. Honestly though, I think it is about the weather. That is, in warmer and I'd guess poorer locals people will just mill around in public areas in the evening after dinner. It's a great opportunity to meet and greet long-time friends and have new introductions. A great environment to meet people. In cold climates the weather drives everyone indoors. And it seems pubs and bars aren't the total answer in cold regions. I don't have a good answer on solutions either.

With all due respect German is not one of the hardest lol. It is Quiet easy to learn it and here in Eastern Europe we are all learning German and English and it is mandatory. And most of us speak both languages good enough that we can even study at the universities. So no German is fur from one of the hardest languages lol Your grammar and rules are easy compared to our language etc. ANd you will never lose a accent of a language unless you came to country as a child. The max age to pick ap an accent is up to 12 years of age. Get your facts straight. Otherwise all good :D

I was married to a Colombian woman for 24 years. We met in Israel in 1995, got married in 96, she was from Medellin and I’m from California. I’ve been to Colombia all through the late 90s until 2020. I’ve seen many changes in Colombia, wonderful people, but like most people just don’t piss them off. I love the culture, music and fashion. For the most part the typical food is very good, some dishes are tough to get used to, but still very good. I went there right after Pablo Escobar was killed, which was late 94. All the high emotion also gets vexing (at least to me) after the novelty wears off. Femininity rules!
